Pm's not working?

I'm trying to give a link to someone but everytime I pm it says "Successfully sent" but then I go to my sent folder and it says "N/A Not sent". What the fuck is going on it's pissing me off, I've sent 4 pms to this person and not one of them works.

eh my end works i just sent pm to ashal maybe your pc has viruses do a virus scan usually either worm or spyware will do that.

this very same thing happened to me with two different users. All I can think of is that the other person dosnt have PM's turned on. I think that this is the case because I have recently sent PM's out to others with np at all

I have the same thing when I send PM's. However after a while it fixes itself.

I'm having issues with the PM funtion too.

The sent item box reads:

N/A (not sent)

And its been like that for a few days now... :/

By looking at the options the:

"Receive private messages from other users"

Isn't ticked by default...

And I'm pretty sure I just defaulted everything when I registered this account.

Maybe the root cause of this is because people just presumes it's defaulted as I did?

Again. Private messages are 100% working. The "N/A (not sent)" Means nothing and is just a bug, your messages have been sent fine and there is nothing to worry about.

I was initially looking to put off fixing this bug as we were going to be moving to new forum software soon and it wouldn't matter. That plan has however changed, so I will look into fixing this minor bug soon.
