Modding FCOM

I plan on creating a purely non-magical, mundane world. That means no mythical creatures or undead in dungeons or the wilderness, unless required for a quest (such as Lorgren Benirus in Benirus Manor). It also means no spells, no scrolls, and no enchanted items, for the PC or NPCs.

However, I run FCOM, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any guides for editing OOO, MMM, etc.

Hopefully I'll be able to restrict the edits to scripts and leveled lists, so I should be able to share my edits (with permission) with anyone else who's interested in such a setting, without requiring huge downloads.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

I am not sure that you will ever find a specific guide to mod OOO or MMM. You can get general guides/tutorials for programs like TES4EDIT and the CS that will allow you to go in and alter spells/inventory and such from the nexus.

Dynamic Leveled Lists on TES Nexus should be able to do much of that for you now. Add a list of all the monsters you don't want to appear to the exceptions list, load DLL last, and you'll get a world without (in this case) supernatural creatures. DLL can't handle items yet, but the author is planing that for a future release.

Thanks! I'd heard about this mod before, but hadn't taken the time to investigate it.

KillingSun - I've been playing Oblivion since release, and this will provide a new and interesting challenge. Plus, it will help prevent my character from becoming overpowered at higher levels. I'll also be tweaking my OBGE settings to make it look like a very old film.
