Just noticed I put this in the wrong Tech Support. Can a mod please move this thread to the correct one for me? Sorry for the trouble.

I'm having an issue with my Lovers mods where for some reason, after a long dungeon crawl session they would mess up by not redressing me after I'm done having sex with my companion- in other cases this issue has gotten so bad to the point where I would CTD afterwards. I've already had to revert back to an older savegame a couple times, but otherwise I have not been able to find a solution myself.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or know what's causing it?

Your problem is a common one....load order.

Your lovers files are far too high in your load order.

Please follow the below link to the lovers faq and at the bottom of the 1st post you will find a txt file that is titled "load order". Follow it and your problems will go away.

Note: Make sure NO lovers files are included in your bashed patch as it will break their scripts resulting in errors!

Also the unrecognized plugins: put them fairly high up in your load order (just under the official dlc). Except the lovers file - on this one follow the faq:
