Hey guys can you tell me if there's any difference between this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27594 and this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29411/ ? I was wondering because I downloaded the 2nd pack and then I've found the first one here in the forum and I was wondering which one is better.

The second one is a lot larger, closer in size to Asianboy's mod for UNP. Either more armors or higher definition.

Say, what does the elin race from the links here look like? Does it use the original elin body and head as mask, or is it something more "fit" to skyrim?

I'd totally use something between the fully ripped elin and Yii children of the sky [looking for a race for a temporary playthrough... might even not happen, but I'm trying] but as far as I can see, both have small issues for me. Not gameplay issues, just astethic issues. I can't really play as the original elin in skyrim, and don't really want to play a simple kid like CotS.

Tested it out, it works fine for me, though I removed the skeleton.nif that would have made my first person height smaller to match the Elin. Hah, didn't like it much in Playable Children, either. The race has a lot more customization than the face masks have, and is animated to a small degree as the Elin will blink. You can fiddle with the eye shape, the mouth shape, choose from three types of eye brows, and choose from every type of Elin hair style, including the styles that are usually only seen with certain armor sets. Their bodies are more or less the same, though it comes with settings to change their height from VerySmall, to Small, to "Normal" which is basically the size of every other race. You can alter the size of the head and shape of the eyes, which I found detracted from what had sort of scared me off from the facemasks.

 

However, I'm wondering if it's normal for the Elin Race to not really mesh well with the actual Elin Armors? The Elin Armors are probably set up for different weights or rather, the facemasks, so it's neck always seems very big - there's a noticable gap where the Elin head meets the Elin armors. Is there any way to fix them for the actual Elin Race? Also, the Bunny-eared hair style with straight hair and the side pony tail had an issue where part of the skull was protruding from part of the hair.

I imagine the Elin Armors that are made to suit CBBE and so on would work, though I don't think that includes all the armors in the actual Elin Pack. So it'd be nice to see them all available some day.

Well, thanks for your reply, but the images aren't showing. I'll still check it, tho, and try some of the converted elin armors for the sky children mod.

 

edit: Aw, I thought it was a simple humanoid race with elin assets, not the normal elin head and body. That's what I wanted to avoid. Considering the options, a custom elin race with the "cbbe loli" mod would be the closest thing to a good elin adapted for Skyrim imo. :c The tails and ears are already available, so the main problem would be fitting those to a human head with cute, aaaalmost anime-like morphs, and finding good textures for the eyes. [as for the hair, well, there is apachii...]

All the armors here should be for CBBE. I used some and they were CBBE so I'm making the assumption that it's for CBBE.

yeah asianboy already talked to me about he hasnt replied to me in a few days so i cant give him the file to upload cause im not going to upload it myself and only thing im lacking is to finish up the guards armor and test the higher leveled lists out to make sure no mis matched sets with invisable parts pop up
