"Is there a mod that..." & Requests

There isn't a mod that allows you to equip a set of clothing (along with a weapon or not) like you can in Skyrim, is there? 

 

EDIT:  To clarify, you can assign a piece of armor, hat, gloves, etc. to something (in Skyrim, it's the number keys), and then when selected, you unequip the stuff you're wearing (don't know if it's for all slots or just slots that will be replaced).  It's probably decently easy (oh no!  that word!) to make.  Maybe.

It can all be done in the GECK with armor add-ons, form lists and body slots.  Lots of mods already do it.  If you're wanting something that covers a wide range of options while in-game you'll probably have to make it yourself and script it.

Excluding the hotkeys (since I don't know if the game would bitch at you for using the numbers), it could be done with a equippable/deequippable "necklace" (that doesn't actually take up a slot) with messages to save your current gear to a form list.  I know that stuff in your inventory/that you equip doesn't have a ref ID.  Just the base ID (and maybe Object ID?  still fuzzy on the actual difference).  And then when used, check your inventory to make sure that you still have the item, equip what you have, show an error message with what's missing.

There is a mod on Nexus that expands the hotkeys.  I don't remember what it's called though.  There is another one that disables the quicksave and quickload keys.  That frees them up items in your inventory.

There was one for FO3 called More Hotkeys

 

It seemed to work quite nicely. I would probably still use it but I think I switched to FNV around that time and then forgot about it

 

I don't recall seeing it for FNV, but maybe it's an easy convert?

Could probably change the sUActnHotKey values in the GECK under Gameplay/Settings on the toolbar.  I know the Editor IDs and string values are there because I switched the change ammo key from 2 to 8.  I don't know what the Editor IDs are for the F1 through F12 keys but they have to be there.  It is just a matter of making them what you want and saving the esp.

You know what would be insane?  A mod that copied your PC over to an NPC.  ie. You're playing as female PC in one save, you slide over to your male PC game, and there's your female PC as an NPC.

Apparently, part of the problem with the hotkey equipment system in NV was that equipping armor through a script won't recheck if you're wearing faction-specific clothing.  Urg.  Nice to find that out once I've gotten myself elbow-deep in GECK (eww).  I would think that creating tokens that had the appropriate faction scripts attached to them and then adding/removing them as hotkeys are used/certain slots are changed.

 

T:  You just want to romance yourself...yourself.  I swear that there was one that let you import your FO3 character into NV as a companion or something like that.  Similar but different.  I bet it could probably be done by some NX finagling with adding all player stats to the csv that's generated with saves and a magic genie.

You could play as a slew of characters.  Then retire them with some options, and they become NPCs in your next play thru.  Would be incredible!

Actually, I bet save data + NosCo/NCCS (whichever one it is) + a mod to piece them together could do it.  The only problem would be saving the face.  I know that there are ways that you can save a generated face as a preset or some such, but I don't know (and apparently am not going to look up) if you can actually set a face value in game or dynamically assign textures/mesh.

 

And I'm NOT going to do it.  ; D  I've got 5-10 mods that I want to do/have started.

That's really pretty easy with a plugin for FO3/FNVEdit and the GECK. You can just grab a companion mod, switch them over to the right race if necessary, and then paste the face values in the Edit program. All you need is this tool:

I have all of my previous player characters pasted onto blank NPCs so I can use them in my comics and screenshots. Using an NPC works better because they'll turn their heads to look in specific directions.

Of course, sometimes it causes problems . . . .

involves feminization/tg, or some other form of transformation? 

I don't know how it would work, as it'd have to reset two perks, but I'm curious if there's anything like this.

This is a  " I need help " I just installed fallout vegas and installed shojo race along with Shojo Neko mods but my character's skin texture is wrong and does not look like what the mod shows. I have installed all required files and yet the same.

Hey guys and gals, I just recently installed A Tale of Two Wastelands and I'm enjoying it.  Now, I have most armors and clothes that I want, but I'm looking for underwear for Type 3 body.  Is there a mod that offers many styles and colors of underwear to mix and match with other clothes, for example, they would use the slot that the blue thong uses in the Dark Stalker mod?  I'm currently using Base HD Type 3 body.

Is there a BNB conversion of the Type3M Clothes Replacer mod on the Nexus? I'm feeling a bit Type3M lately so am gonna switch over from Type6M.

 

Also can anyone link me to a GOOD nude Female Body Texture? I'm kinda sick of BOG yet it seems the only Non-Tattooed skin I can find that's halfway decent... >.>

If you're going back to Type3 I can honestly suggest Mojave Delight.  The textures in that are based on my custom campanions' skins.  There's that or just use the FO3 Type3 textures.  If you look on the FO3 side of Nexus there are probably twice as many Type3 mods.

Thanks Kendo, it didn't even dawn on me to look over on the FO3 side of things, I'm sure mere textures would be completely compatible with NV. I have Mojave Delight but for some reason the vagina area always looked deformed. I was using the Type6M body so maybe that was the cause. I do like the skin in there though. Both a blessing and a curse that FO3/NV have SO MANY body types with various stock clothing replacers.

The Type6 UV map was altered (for whatever reason) from the orginal Type3 Cali mesh it is based on.  Using Mojave Delight with real Type3 meshes will fix the distortion, and it works with Type3M.  I use that body mesh for a few NPCs and they look fine.

nokou, this isn't the place for help, but I've helped several Nexus members in the past with the FNV shojo race issues. Mainly to do with the hairs as that was the biggest complain with people not finding Lings for FNV. If you want help you can either PM me with more specifics or you can go to the technical support for fallout and create a topic.

1: when the game ends continue playing afterwards. No matter what sides. but the side you chose should be friendly.  like when i chose Yes man the securitron will patrol mohavi.

2: overhaul for hair eyes and face(presets).

3: adding new elements to the game. like new quests or expanding existing quests.

If you use Type 3, I suggest Mojave Delight.  I made all of the presets, body and eye textures.  Xaznom also uploaded Type3 meshes I made, but the ones I have here at LL are more recent and much improved.

There is, however, zzjays hairs and mm10 hair pack that offer more unique hair that has slowly gained popularity over time on Nexus image share.
