Thank you for the advice and options. I tried your first idea with the load order but did no good. As for GECK I never used it before and I only have basic experience with mods. This menu systems looks rather complicated but if I am only dragging one thing to another and no digging into to different file variants I should be fine. :P

 

No, It only gives me the vanilla options in character creation.

@Molevalence:  Mikoto's/Ling's didn't work for you to just add hair?

 

Given all the changes that FCO makes, assumedly to the races themselves as much as the faces, it's quite possible that it's causing incompatibilities as is with the other beauty mods. If you're using Mikotos you -- might -- be able to fix this by adjusting the load order. Move the Mikoto base ESM below the FCO base ESM, and move the Mikoto ESP below any FCO ESPs, and it might work. It might also cause more conflicts with FCO, though.

You might have to add the hairstyles to the individual races in the GECK to avoid the problem. It's very easy if you know now to use the GECK at all.

Open up the GECK, make sure you select Lings/Mikoto ESM file, select FCOs ESM file, and pick the main FCO ESP as the Active File. When it all loads, use the Character Tab at the top to locate the Race window and the Hair Window. In the Race Window, pick each race, move to the Head Data Tab, and locate the Hair Styles box. Then just drag hairstyles from the Hair Window into the Race Window's hair style box.

At that point, if you're using Mikoto's I'd just delete the Mikoto ESP, and rely on the FCO esp to make any changes from that point forward. Ling's doesn't use an ESP so it should be fine. This is the only real way to make sure that there are no conflicts with the changes made by various beauty mods.

Haha, yeah, I am that jonas, I don't have much here because it's too big a pain to support mods on too many sites.

Regarding the kimonos, those are just conversions of the Sweet outfit Hentai did for oblivion. I know there are a number of other colors available already. I'll look when I get some free time to play around.

I think the vanilla eyeglasses look pretty stupid so i wondered if anyone has made better looking models. And i figured such a mod would come other sort of stuff one might wear on the head, that isn't a hat or a helmet, thus the "headgear".

hey there, after failing with the ttw instalation i want to remod my new vegas.


iam looking for a mod that makes the dialog window biger, i had that mod befor but cant remember its name.

Easiest to just make new presets, there's no limit. Pick the NPC face you want, and in the main tab ("traits" I believe,) check the box marked "is character preset"". Viola, new preset.

Ah.  Good info, but I think that I asked the wrong question.  :-/   If I wanted to replace the blast back hair style with one of the styles from Mikoto, etc., I would just need to put it in the proper place and make sure it matches the file name of the original that's in the BSA?

Ah, I understand now. Hmmmm . . . that's actually a bit tricky of a question to answer, I'm not quite sure if that will work. If it was anything but hair then I would say yes -- that's the general method to make a replacer. But hair models also have their requisite EGM files to deal with, and I'm not certain that the textures would work properly, because you have to set the texture separately in the GECK when you make a hair model. Could be worth a try, I suppose, but you'd be better off manually reassigning models and textures for any hairs in the GECK itself than trying to replace something.
