3ds max Skyrim mesh exporting

I'm having a issue where I export my body mesh with 3ds max 2010 and in game the texture has began refracting light around me on the surface and there's basically no body texture, i'm very new to this type of thing so forgive me if it's too obvious. Please tell me if you need more description and a picture.  :-/

Go open a vanilla armor in nifskope and copy the BSLightingShaderProperty from the part that has the skin showing. Remove the one you have on your mesh (the part where the skin is showing) and paste it (specify it under the BS Properties block for your NiTrishape (the part that is going to show skin texture)). To get the armor texture to show up copy the same thing (BSLightingShaderPorperty) to the NiTriShape that is going to have your armor texture. Each BSLightingShaderProperty can be expanded to show the path to the texture you are going to use. If you copied the skin one from a vanilla mesh it shouldn't require you to change anything, but your armor textures must be specified for the BSLightingShaderProperty you attach to the armor part of the mesh.
