Any one else having any CTDs? I'm getting a TON with the 1.60... Never had ANY CTDs with 1.59 :o

hehe - welcome to the club...but..no worries my friend...our pain is only temporal...chief surgeon ashal and his team are working on fix. :)

I've been getting a lot of runtime error crashes (game freezes and runtime error window pops up in background) and they always occur after starting a sex act, but more specifically they occur frequently when I start a sex act with an actor whose facial expression was modified and remains stuck from a previous act.

I'm not sure if this is the expression bug others are reporting, but this is how it occurs in my game:

Load from save, no problems everyone has neutral expressions.

I start an act, no problems, expressions are loading and switches during the act for my PC and partner.

After act my PCs expression is reset normally but the partner's face doesn't reset, it remains as the last expression set by the previous act

At this point if I start another act with the same partner, there's a chance I will freeze with runtime error. This seems to happen more frequently when I start the act with PSQ's "Sneak feed" function than if I start the act with dialogue options via SLEN. I'm fairly certain sneak feed counts as an aggressive act, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I only recently noticed NPCs expressions were stuck and I'm certain they did not have this issue when I first updated to SL1.60, and I don't know what could have caused it because I only installed a homemade tes5edit merged clothing mod (running out of esp slots), and I removed fire and ice overhaul from load order. They don't have anything to do with SL.

I want to try doing a fresh reinstall of sexlab. I use mod organizer so does anyone know if sexlab writes files to any directories other than the SexLabFramework folder in MO's mod folder? I plan to rename my current folder and installing a fresh copy to force sexlabs install scripts to run again

actually I noticed the issue when I tried to upgrade my papyrus engine, apparently that can't or shouldn't have been released as a separate entity- had my papyrus spammed with errors looking for sl tags

 

..anyhow I didn't keep the logs from it and now sl is out of beta so i'll try it on a fresh game to avoid issues but my question or issue seems to be with a link for fnis creatures on the main page requiring fnis 5.2 that isn't there, only fnis 5.3 beta

could start a poll on how many people getting crittermoth spam in their logs

 

anybody here have a valid link or download for fnis creatures 5.2

I recently updated a number of mods here and since then I have noticed that when I go into the console, I no longer have the ability to toggle an additional object info window on the left using the tab button. I don't suppose anyone knows what I messed up, or where this feature comes from? (I assumed it was vanilla)

 

Edit: Seems it's a mod that's been integrated into Sexlab framework, MFGconsole. I have indeed updated Sexlab. Not sure what's up with this, though. Sexlab seems extra glitchy since I updated, things seem laggy and sometimes participants do not get into position or just stand there. I guess I'll check in that thread.

 

Did I screw something up? Is the MFGconsole just no longer a part of SL?

Hi, I guess it's a bug from 1.60 with hotfix.

1. My gag seems doesn't work properly, the mouth won't open when put gag on until fuck with somebody.

2. If wear a gag (even mouth open), save and load, mouth will close again.

if it's not a bug? could somebody told me where can i setup to make it right?

This is due to 1.60 not including Mfg Console, which other mods relied on to open mouths for gags. Ashal has said it is returning in the next update. You can get Mfg Console from Nexus and install it separately in the meantime.

Aggressive animations (triggered by Defeat, I don't really know how else to get an "aggressive" animation to play) seem to use the same Strip options as Normal. I haven't installed the hotfix, does it change anything that might have to do with that? Otherwise, what would be causing this? Does Defeat need an update or something?

dun't uninstall or delete the working copy of sl you had before installing the new copy of sl over it, for me that worked and the gag still works

yes defeat needs an update or it has no idea what aggressive anims are in the new sl - that's aside from the technical changes

1.60 is little buggy but it works. You might expect some CTDing and some mod incompatibilities but it works. Regardless named problems I'm still using 1.61. :)

I get a stange bug with the last version of sexlab. I cannot access the "tab" menu in the console and I don't have any detail about the object I've selected thru console.


 


Also the gag from devious device don't work my PC is stuck with a strange smile.

1.60 with the bug fix still has a lot of "bugs".  For example, using sexlab matchmaker, sometimes I can trigger the animations and they work properly, other times when the game goes to start the animation, the game just totally locks up and I have to use the task manager to close the game.  I had an issue with 1.59 where sometimes the game would silently crash if I trigged an animation but it was rare, and 1.60 was supposed to fix that issue but it looks like it aggravated the issue.

The issue also seems to be with specific npc's, I was able to trigger the animations every time with the elf in Riverwood but the guy who hangs out at the bar, each and every time I hit him with matchmaker the game locks up.  It doesn't make much sense why it works every time with one npc and locks up every time with another npc.

post the log next time and we can help, in 1.59 I discovered that the log tells the last sl animation that you can disable it from the mcm to prevent it the next time Or atleast until a real fix is made by the author

 

had a few arrok anims disabled for that on 1.59, but so far 1.6 with hotfix seems to be flawless on my end

 

solution might also be in the method of install tho, I upgraded to the new papyrus engine 3.0 then sl 1.6 then hotfix then new creature anims and fnis creature update then new game

(no uninstall necessary, just installed everything over top of the old files)

Ashal,


 I meant to get back to you earlier.  With respect to the reduced number of animations for MM, I did have the filter turned off but it appears like it is being applied regardless of the MCM setting.  Similar perhaps to people experiencing the 'even actors height' when it's not checked?

here's a log of the events


first game freeze all day with the new sl, a few logs got to be worse than this up to 26mb and its a new game this morning, but I noticed a chain reaction in the logs broke other mods, so I closed and reloaded then went back as if things were ok with a more vigilant eye out


here's a log where sl is the first and most prevalent to spam the log and eventually game freezes during the attempted anim before it logs the name
