- Foreplay - this is just a renaming and overwriting of the 3 foreplay positions (normal, sitting, and standing) in order to allow the final animation of each position to play before the climax stage (meaning its viewable without a time limit. (Just merge data folders)). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyone could have done this, but I'm just posting it for those who want it, but don't know how to rename/overwrite.

May I request an additional parameter in StartSex() to control progression of stages? Something like a bool parameter like AutoAdvance = true/false perhaps? And of course an additional function such as AdvanceStage() in sslBaseThread script to manually advance stages. The reason why I'm asking for this is because I want to control the duration of every stage using timers in scenes. By using scenes I can add some dialogue to be spoken during sex which perhaps may vary in each stage. (BTW, if the sex is set to advance manually, keystrokes that will attempt to advance the stage have to be ignored as well).

 

There is already a function to control stage, it's just not listed in the api guide as it's meant to serve as the function to be used via the advance stage hotkey:

function AdvanceStage(bool backwards = false)	
No reason it can't be used still, I'll likely put it in the API guide later.

 

Currently there is no way to control the auto advance or stage timers via api safe means, I'll look into it for the next release though.

Thanks. There are a few other things I have in mind, mostly to be able to create "orgy" type of scenes, where the player can change partners by leaving the currently running animation at a certain stage (to be resumed later) and start another animation with another actor (while the previous actor is waiting his turn by running another idle anim.) and so on. Just imagine a group scene with 1 vs 3+ people. This is basically why I need finer control on stages. So to be able to resume an animation at a certain stage perhaps I could use something like this ForceAnimation(sslBaseAnimation animation, short stage)? Also, while we're on the subject of orgies, perhaps the function ApplyCum(actor a, int cumID) might take an additional "coverage" parameter (short as 1, 2, 3 or float 0.0 to 1.0) in order to apply various amounts of cum like 1 guy, 2-3 guys, 4-5 guys and so on. This requires an additional set of textures though, but successive calls to ApplyCum with different location IDs would probably just replace the texture with the previous one, so it won't give you the same effect. I hope you'll consider adding these as well to the next version.

Just finished tweaking standing animations


 


I fixed some spine bending on the bent over stage, and planted actors feet for male and female for all 3 animations.

The up/down alignment is just so awesome. Works so well, and very smooth. All the transitions are so smooth now. Did you edit the moveto command's z axis to compensate for the +10 player auto-offset to achieve this? (as you mentioned few weeks back) If so it worked flawlessly.

Thanks a ton for getting the up/down alignment to work,....that saves me a lot of work trying to test multiple skeletons on z-axis sensitive animations. Now anyone can align using any skeleton!

Now I'm free to work on the problems relating only to the actual animation (clipping issues, motion syncing issues, bone snapping issues, ect.) , and not the minuscule alignment details of the 2 actors.

Arrow, can you fix the devils 3-way? I think I remember you writing that you were going to adjust it. I installed the recommended skeleton but now when he takes the middle spot the middle to lower back is stretched unnaturally like silly putty. Additionally the middle person actually moves around too much. The guy in front is going to get some awful teeth marks and the guy behind would never be able to keep a rhythm with all that contorting. I love your work and I'm eager to see what you come up with. Thank you!

That animation was made by mithos, and he didnt use a BBP skeleton. Its actually not a leg up position, its a rape animation AP leg up SexiS replacer. So dont worry, youre not missing anything.

 

 

The devil's threeway is comming along nicely,...heres a shot of stage 1,...

thanks Arrok and yes i'm one of the ones who don't know how to go in and rename.


 I finally dl the new version and got it going. with using the other mods like sex lab lover's comfort/lover's hooks, sex lab sex chat, and sex lab working girl. have seen the 3 way working and the tri. now that is strange to see the first time especially with the commander of white run and ysolda and a guard. just love the new framework Ashal you have done a great job. I know i'm easy to impress. :)

Is there any way to get the cum effect without climax? Just wondering. Or some sort of mod that applies a cum effect to females. Thanks in advance.

The current Devil's threeway is a placeholder, I originally made it just so Ashal and other modders could test positioning a 3 actor animation. I literally threw it together in like 30 min.  Don't worry, that animation wont even be in the official devils threeway,...I happen to be working on the 3-stage Devils threeway at this time.

Well think about it. There's a mod that raises the heart rate which allows mod plugins. If SexLab had an option to use that feature to allow sex to raise the heart rate, then the SexLab plugins could take advantage of that for a number of things.

is it save to leave a cell when a sex is in progress? if it isn't safe will there be a hotkey to clear all current sex activity? thank you

 

i'm asking this because i sometime freaked out when i'm opening a door a random sex started in the game, making me remember there was a problem back then with SexiS that sex voices heard in every place i went too because of this problem

 

I was going to ask something very similar. I'm trying to implement some kind of OnUnload() / OnDetachedFromCell() logic in my random sex code to handle situations such as the player leaving an area via a door or a victim NPC going through a door when they are being pursued by an attacker.

 

Obviously, if SexLab is handling these situations, then I only need to worry about what's going on inside my plugin. So is this implemented in SexLab?

Going through a door will end any lingering animations going on. The thread will detect they aren't able to be animated anymore and send the kill signal.

 

Since the actors are purged however, it may not properly reset their graph, ai, or other such things, I'm not sure though, I haven't done much testing for it but the tests I have done showed it to seem safe enough. But my tests on it only involved making 2 npcs starting sex then leaving the inn and coming back in, finding them going about their business complain about there not being enough ale and calling my character lass as if nothing was happening 10 seconds earlier, making them start sex again, and leaving and coming back in again. Each time they properly selected the the first available animation slot, which proves it at least resets the thread itself properly.

 

So I'd wager it's fine. The debug log does make a few complaints about the actors being unloaded when resetting the thread though, nothing major though, but take it with a grain of salt I guess.

 

May also be worth noting that when loading a savegame, that SexLab does immediately call the function to end and reset all 15 animation threads, as loading into a save game with an active scene has the tendency to make the scene loop forever.

Are you pressing the right hotkey? Check your controls mapping in the MCM menu, and make sure you don't have any other mods conflicting on that key by changing it to something else.

There is a somewhat rape-like system with both working girl and lovers comfort which will utilize the flags as well as flag into the diary as victim ... There is also a recent addition called submit that makes the PC the aggressor, though not sure if it flags the framework as such or not.

Also, if you have lover's hook installed and the sex is considered rape by it, it will disable the hotkeys unless you uncheck the box in it's (Lover's Hook) MCM.

No, as has been said many times there is not built in rape or sex because this mod does NOT start sex by itself under and circumstance, nor will it ever. It's meant to facilitate it for other mods to start sex animations easily and quickly.

 

Other mods can define a victim for a sex scene, the victim is then treated as well, the victim, and everybody else involved as the aggressors, which are essentially the rapist. I specifically avoid referring to it as raped/rapist anywhere in the mod and instead as victim/aggressor mainly because I don't want people to think of rape being it's only use, and for personal moral reasons in regards to the subject.

 

If the mod starting the sex doesn't define their own animations, SexLab will auto select the animations marked as aggressive in this case. And likewise if it's not a victim/aggressor animation, then it will not select animations marked as aggressive, this is to get "rape-y" looking animations to show up only where they make sense to, unless the modder says otherwise, or the player has disabled the restrict aggressive animations option.

Sorry, as it stands, I made the SLSubmit a very 'bare bones' WIP/proof of concept tutorial for myself, more than anything, that also filled in a niche that the SL Romance mod didn't currently cover.  So yeah, I didn't really go into any MCM options or any of the diary options to track such things, mostly because I literally only started any real work on it last night and still have much to learn as to what I can do with SexLab!

I heavily tested the new SexLab Framework 1.0 (4c).


 


Positive:


1. Starting alignement with player involved are almost all perfect.


2. Transitions between stages are smooth and very good.


3. Sex Diary work fine.


4. Movement keys are awesome, useful and perfectly functionals.


5. Number of choices, settings and so on is impressive.


6. Bed's animations are well aligned and without jumps, scattering or similar issues. (Player).


 


Negative:


1. Almost ALL animations between NPC and NPC are misaligned, especially if they are near some clutter. Almost always they start really far apart one from each other.


2. There is still some redress issues when player changes animation type but it solves itself. So then, it could not be a real issue.


 


I think it could be a great addition to have some (at least one) keys to realign NPC to NPC animations even if I suppose it's not an easy task.


I tried to use the "tc" console command but with very limited luck. I can make one NPC to jump and to break the current misaligned stage but often the following stage is misaligned anyway.


Sometimes it goes good but rarely. I suppose that the main problem could be the original sandbox of the npcs that makes them to be into cluttering positions.


The only moments in which they start aligned and perfom their animations very well if when both of them are my followers (under my commands) and I go with them into a flat large surface.

work, always good ^^, i like the new transition smooth, but now, i have same problem when its the end, after sex, character fall inconscious and idk wtf happen..O_O... they react like if they was blocked in the floor and when they wake up, they are brutally push and flying away...its very strange.
i have test at breezehome, make sex just at front of the entry door, when sex is finish lydia (yes,lydia for test ^^ ) have flying in the house and finish under the stairs....rofl, idk what the problem, this happen everytime, even if i use the bed...

 

 

edit: mmh sound like i have found the problem, apparently due to the "elewin pump" or name like this ^^, now thats work good without it
