There's a lot of pics linked here from imgur and they're all broken. Here's why.

 

That forum was blocked because we found adult image being hotlinked, which is against the terms of service. If you believe this was a mistake, we can review it for unblocking.

Names changed to protect the innocent. On top of that, Imageshack deletes pics seemingly at random.
 
So here's a couple of image hosts I like mainly because they allow hotlinking from LL. If you have one, post it and I'll add it. If you like one, post and I'll put a vote next to the one you like. hopefully I can keep up with this long enuf to matter.

I just take my screenshots and upload it through the LL upload option that way pictures show up small till a person clicks it. Same can be done with pictures you see just drag and drop it and upload it through LL option.

Right... that's fair and it works. But if the images are hosted elsewhere, it helps keep LLs bw down... which means lower bills and better site longevity.

I' surprised Imgius isn't on there. Doesn't get much better than that. Photobucket and imageshack are terrible because any naughty pics will be deleted, even if set to private. Trust me, I know.

because 3ezy has the same general allowances, with galleries. Same with minus.com. and oh btw, minus has drag n drop batch uploading. Widgetry like that, believe it or not, will win based on usability alone.

Well if the picture is on a different host I just use the drag and drop option and drop them into my upload folder or use pixlr grabber for ones that can't be dragged and dropped.

However, I would like to know if there is one where I can register and have a gallery. Also, know that my images won't host on the front page of the site and I have an option to block or hide images to the public.

 

Is there one out there? If anyone has tried these, I would like to know their opinion in PM. As long as it's LL happy.

Sorry to hear that 3ezy gallery is not working out for you. It is not developed by me, its more of a "requested" thing by visitors so its been added on, it works for some of the people but I do agree with you, it's not that easy to comprehend.

 

Have you tried  http://images.gonzb.com ? It has a pretty advanced gallery for savvy users. You can pretty much design your gallery by editing the template settings (100s of them) sort of overkill but I am guessing you might like it. Its pretty old (like 2005-6 about)

I find it weird that imgur would not allow hotlinking of adult images here when a lot of adult images on reddit use imgur.

 

It's not weird at all. reddit is imgurs bread and motherfucking butter. to block hotlinking across all of reddit because they have porn areas would kill imgur. period.

But dont they only block adult images if they are actually set to public? All my images not just the adult ones on imgur are set to private and the only way to see them is by direct link or the img tab in a post. They are un searchable got them on highest private settings, how would they know they are there anless some one reports the images?

Because they're not blocking the images, they're blocking LoversLab from hotlinking.

 

Embedding will not work because they don't allow image referrals from LoversLab.

I have a small problem, as most know, I'm German and I would also like to upload once a few nice pictures.

I tried to put on a German website, a photo gallery. after 5 minutes my gallery was closed as justification wrote to me,

"it would be youth-endangering materials" are in!
So my question is, in Germany, there are websites where you can upload pictures without problems?
