I don't know of any hair models quite like his that are currently in Oblivion...

To remake them you will need to learn 3d modeling. Take your pick out of the available 3d programs (Blender, 3dmax, Maya etc), just make sure you can export to a file format that can later be turned into an Oblivion-compatible nif.

If you are using Blender, the latest version that's compatible with the Oblivion nif scripts is 2.49b, but finding tutorials for it should still be easy.

Happy learning.

Thanks for the reply, i have blender installed and know a fair bit about modelling (i've made my own models aswell as armor mashups and im working on some fable hair conversions at the moment) i learnt it fairly quickly. i just need to figure out how speedbusters hairs were made, cause i cant wrap my brain around it.

Im very experienced in making textures so making the textures for them should be fairly simple.

Well, I will say I look forward to that if you can recreate Speedbusters lovely hair styles :D.

Good luck. I actually would want to learn to make hair myself, but I often notice that Race related files are often coupled with an .EGM file and sadly I am yet to take/ have the time to figure out what that is X_X.

This magical file is a hair morph which is responsible for the hair to adapt to changes made to the head shape in the face gen interface/race menu.

It's distorting the hair along every distortion done to the head itself, e.g. changing the face's width with the bottom slider of the 'Face' category. If the morph is badly done or outright missing the head will clip through the hair instead. Some elements missing their respective morph files even make the race menu (and the CS as well) crash when creating a custom race.

You can create and edit your own morph files with this tool: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/9360//?
