a wierd thing also happened.. reloading saves, the MCM dissapeared :-S

That's odd, but type in the console "stopquest PrivateNeedsMCMconfigQuest" followed by "startquest PrivateNeedsMCMconfigQuest" should make the menu reappear.

I seem to be having a rather annoying problem. Bath won't work every time I try to bathe the power does not do anything. I assumed this is because of Realistic Water Two so I disabled hygiene, but every time I relieve bowels no matter what I use it says, "I'm very disgusting right now". It does not matter if I wipe with Toilet paper, leather, rough paper it still does the same thing. What's the point in wiping if it's just going to do the same thing. Also, I can't clean myself off so I end up stuck with this effect.

That's an oversight on my part. I forgot to stop the bowels and bladder from updating hygiene status if hygiene was disabled. I'll make a hotfix tomorrow as I really need to get some rest now.

how come realistic water two disables bathing when the mod knows im near water otherwise the option wouldn't even appear o.O how does this work?

Uploaded a hotfix that stops hygiene updates after urinating and defecating even when hygiene is disabled. Toilet paper has no real uses if hygiene is disabled, but I've allowed it even if hygiene is disabled.

The bathing issue is being investigated.

Nope, it supposed to be in "scripts" not "script". Just reuploaded with fixed paths. Please redownload.

Can't wait for this mod to finaly get out of alpha/beta states I've tryed your alpha releases off and on. Each time I've enountered a lot of script lag just to get annoyed and swap back to your last completed release. The lag wasn't cause by just your mod I've been expermenting with a lot of mods latley not one of my girls have made it past whiterun in over a month lol. If I wasn't such a realizism fanatcic I probally wouldn't even bother but I am so I'll keep waiting. Odds are when you get the hygeine bug fixed I'll try it again I use piure waters myself. I do know rnd uses a patch for it cause it mods something with the default water so rnd with the patch can't reconize you standing in it.

I'm getting the button to "bathe" when I stand in water, but my character doesn't play the animation, nor does she get clean. Having some trouble fixing this, sorry if it was mentioned before - I tried looking for an answer :/

Edit: Using the newest released version with Pure waters, PrivateNeeds is set after the water mod in my load order.

iNeed is where it's at. Really simple and isn't insanely involved like the other necessities mods. Works flawlessly with Private Needs.

I do have a question. I have 1.3beta installed. How do I active bathing? I have W.A.T.E.R installed if that makes a difference.

It seems that bathing is bugged currently. However, the way I've implemented it in the current version is that you use the same hotkey as you would with urinating or defecating, and as long as you are standing in water, you should see an option to bath when the menu pops up.

As for the script lag problem, I've yet to experience anything like that with my own mod. That being said though, I do have a really powerful computer/CPU. For the people who are experiencing script lag, it might be helpful if you post a debug log, load order, and a description of when and where the script lags are occurring. Any sort of pattern that these script lags seem to follow would also be helpful.

Looking into that mod now but i allready know rnd isnt my only issue causing that im playing on a pc that was solid for oblivion not skyrim i only have a 2 core 2.7 ghz cpu 4 gb ddr 2 ram and a 512 mb 8600 gt. and this mod list im sure has alot to do with it to

I have problem with textures. Bathing generally works , and I'm getting dirty. But when I load game when I'm dirty I have no texture(I'm black) but can fix it by bath and I'm again normal and can get dirty again. looks like textures of beeing dirty cannot be loaded directly, only by updates. it happens only when I have second layer of dirt

I'm having this problem too, and neither using Skyui reset command nor using MCM restart command for Private Needs helps.

I start a new game and PN's MCM does not appear either, which is weird because everything was working fine 2-3 days ago. Changing load order does not help, the same for reinstall Private needs on a clean save.

I reverted PN 2.11 and the MCM showed up again

I have the same problem. My game gets really lagged when running the new version. Seems like a script is constantly trying to check my bladder and goes haywire. Also sometimes my char gets totally black when the dirt texture is applied. When i equip armor it goes away.

Will check the newer version. For now I will fall back again. I am looking forward to a full release. Love the new sounds btw.

Hello,

Just wanna list up all the bugs i had, maybe its usefull for you

- MCM doesnt show up on every savegame.

- Sometimes when i want to configure the Private needs the MCM crashes.

- German translation shows no description. ( When you swap the translation files the MCM never wanna show himself )

- Statusbutton doesnt work.

- Compatibility problems with Puppet Master Swallow ( Not really your fault just wanna say that )

Hope you can do something with it.

I've check alot of stuff I still can't really seem to pinpoint what's making the mod go haywire. However, I did find a discrepancy with the esp that I uploaded, so I reuploaded the file with a different esp. Please redownload Private Needs 3.0Alpha5.rar.

You sir or madam, have a bad case of outdated computer. Regardless, I see a few of those mods can be replaced by less script-heavy ones that do almost the same thing:

Climates of Tamriel -> Pure Weathers

SOS -> SOS Lite (Lite is also more compatible with things)

RND -> iNeed

And the heavy script mods without replacements:

Locational Damage

Frostfall

Then there's a couple mods in there that are known to just crash the client outright (removing would require a new game):

rainbows

dead body collision

Apart from those mods, there's three ways I found that can really help the game perform better:

SKSE 1.7's built in memory patch - removes the stress from the engine's memory blocks

ENBoost - removes the stress from your video card

ATTK Power Launcher - removes the stress from the engine's bottlenecks (the skyrim version is free)

Also, found these from the Bethesda skyrim forums - they're some overused scripts that have been cleaned and optimized.

The Only issues I have had with 3.0Alpha5 is the status button doesn't work but i use the "go" button to check so thats no big deal and the soaps don't work, other then that its working fine on my end <now if only the other 200+ mods would do the same>

Can't wait for this mod to finaly get out of alpha/beta states I've tryed your alpha releases off and on. Each time I've enountered a lot of script lag just to get annoyed and swap back to your last completed release. The lag wasn't cause by just your mod I've been expermenting with a lot of mods latley not one of my girls have made it past whiterun in over a month lol. If I wasn't such a realizism fanatcic I probally wouldn't even bother but I am so I'll keep waiting. Odds are when you get the hygeine bug fixed I'll try it again I use piure waters myself. I do know rnd uses a patch for it cause it mods something with the default water so rnd with the patch can't reconize you standing in it.

Not to sound like an advert, but if you have script lag and are a realism fanatic, I'd suggest trying out iNeed. It's RND's spiritual successor without nearly the amount of scripts. Plus, it's natively compatible with all food mods.

Looking into that mod now but i allready know rnd isnt my only issue causing that im playing on a pc that was solid for oblivion not skyrim i only have a 2 core 2.7 ghz cpu 4 gb ddr 2 ram and a 512 mb 8600 gt. and this mod list im sure has alot to do with it to

I actually got it running very smooth i even run enb with around a 20 fps not great but def playable. And right now script lag isnt bad eather occasionally ill have some issues like frostfall reporting script update takes to long, sex anamations sometimes take a few sec longer to start but not much else.

Altho my pc sucks im a pretty advanced user and fully understand how to scrape as much power out as i can. Frostfall there is other replacements i tryed em didnt like em and loc damage im in love with it literly requires me to wear decent protection me running around in a thong is well not good altho i still have a few armor mods running like that lol.

I run enboost/skse 1.7 ill def look up ATTK Power Launcher though and check out those scripts. Most of my lag i had while testing the newer versions wernt caused completely by this mod i have a habit of changing my mod list pretty extensively almost daily like for instance i just wiped my install and reloaded everything from scratch omitting a few mods i didnt like much. Ill also consider pure weathers but def not tonight it takes me 6+ hrs to get skyrim back up from a wipe theres alot of meshes i manually edit and i have alot of alt textures/meshes i have to dump after i install mod xxx. Ty for the tips though everyone im stuck with his pos for the foreseeable future as per I cant seem to get or hold a job for long.
