ok i have a question about bathing in the newest version. how do you bathe? there is no hot key or lesser power.

Go to water, please press the key to pee/shit then, there'd be a message box say: bath (I think).

 

 

nope ive tried all the water falls that i used to use that i used in older versions, wen in water at several different places, nothing came up in that menu. even adding the bath spell and using that doesnt work.

 

Bathing under waterfalls is temporarily disabled. With water mods, like Realistic Waters Two, you need to install the some sort of compatibility version so that the script can detect whether or not you're standing in water correctly.

I guess I shouldn't assume everyone's using a water mod. Anyways, I added a vanilla water patch for Private Needs for the people that don't use any mods that change the water. It should work with both 2.11 and 3.0. This should allow the Private Needs to correctly detect whether or not your character is standing in water.

 

If any of you are using a water mod, check if that particular mod has a compatibility version in general (I know for a fact that Realistic Waters Two has one and I believe Pure Waters has one too), not necessarily for Private Needs. Otherwise, post the water mod you're using and I'll see about making a compatibility patch for it.

 

 

 

i am using Pure waters though with the vanilla patch i actually have the option show for bathing, though the animations dont play or anything, but its a step closer. thank you.

So, I'm using Water Mod: Realistic Water of Two. Trying to give some screenshot, but there's nothing happened. MCM menu is not even opened. Which somehow last night it did.

 

Tried to new game, with Alternate Start - Live Another Life. MCM menu doesn't appear.

Try to deactivate mod, load save game, then create a new save. After that load that save w/ Private Need installed. MCM now appear.

 

When I try to load the save game again after quiting the game. I find that the Bath animation didn't work anymore. The dirt on player (to make her dirty) works fine, but somehow when I go near water, the bath animation won't work. Then I open MCM menu and click the Private Need. The game CTD. I'm not sure if this related with pregnancy mod since I tested hentai pregnancy too.

Which version of this file do I need?

Ver. 2.11  is stable ver. It's the one you should use. I've tried latest ver (3Alpha 5) which as its name stated that it's still in alpha by upgrading from 2.11. Unfortunately in my case, there's no MCM menu. 

 

What to download (as in my experience)

Private Needs 2.11.rar

PrivateNeeds-RND.rar -> use this if you use Realistic Need and Disease

PrivateNeeds-Sexlab.rar 

 

Install with NMM, and as the modder stated:

Run the Fnis patcher

Upon loading with the mod installed you should see a new option in the MCM menu called "Private Needs"

Under Private Needs go to "General" and click activate.

 

What does PrivateNeeds for Sexlab for?? Is it required??

i've tested it again, when I am at water, I press the key and choose bath. My player character is undressed but no animation started. Could it be a load order issue? I put it in the bottom. Since, it works last night.

 

I found the fix. I put it in the bottom of load order and apply FNIS patch. I forget to apply it before. For now, it's worked (bathing animation). Testing all animation (pee, shit, bath), everything works fine. Tested while player character is pregnant, no ctd.

I'm not sure, what happened before, but this new game test conclude, that it's work well. I put it in the bottom of load order and apply FNIS patch. Maybe there's some load order problem or something else in previous test.

 

Now, what should be done, is adding more description on setting and add PNcheck hotkey to be functional.

Can you upload a screenshot with the character dirty 'cus if I remember correctly that texture had some issues in alpha 5.

 

I would also like to suggest in the next version to make it able to toggle the movement effects on/off as if something goes wrong, they remain permanent on the player.

What should be fix:

• PN Check hotkey

Flashing Black texture.

It works well on new game, but when I tried to my save game, it's CTD. Still I'm not sure what cause it, could be this mod.

Test a new game without this mod installed, I found that my hide armor conversion is the cause of CTD when loading the save game with my character wearing that hide armor. Removing that mod solve the problem. 

 

Then I installed Private Needs, unfortunately the MCM menu doesn't appear. It seems that, as in my experience testing this mod, it only appear when we play a new game with the mod already installed. 

Applying FNIS patch simply make the MCM appear, I forget to do that.

im not sure how i keep loosing the bathing option ^^^having the same issues but adding it to the bottom of the load order didnt solve the problem :/
  im having alot of trouble with the bathing option.. it keeps disappearing  .... but i keep moving it to try to have the option show up and some attempts are successful others aren't ( even the same ones i did that ensured a positive result) ..:/

any idea how i can find a permanent fix to having the bathing option so i can clean the dirt and the negative moodlet seeing those work lol

 sadly i deleted the alpha 5 and as u said i should download .. Private Needs 3.0Alpha6.rar i did and still no bath option.. im trying everything and for some reason cant get it to pop up like i have before .. weird ..  lol i get the most random bizarre problems with my game

Yes I use both and FYI I tried to play new game, not upgrading from previous ver. Try to do a clean save and upgrade to 3.0Alpha6.rar. I know the modder said that you don't need a clean save, but maybe it worth a try. Don't forget FNIS Patch and install all the requirement to its latest ver (Zaz animation now is already v6.0).

Seeing it I remembered another issue. There should be a way (a script propably) that deletes the excerments that are left lying around. As it is now they stay there forever and if you use the mod for a long time there will be a lot of uselless clutter in it.

Shower in rain... When it rains the Bathe option will come up and work...

 

Squat in water to force Bathe animation, I heard Realistic Needs Mod does this to drink out of water...

 

I am having real trouble with the Bathing animation not working for me, even with me changing my water mod.

 

Shower in rain, and forcing the Bathe animation would save a lot of trouble

 

Last idea... If you have water and soap on you, you can wash yourself. Call it a QUICK WASH...

those 2 patches are ONLY for 2.11, they will break the game if applied to the alpha

Yes, I had too. So, few days ago I've got many ctd after the game loads. I need to find the culprit by uninstalling latest mods I downloaded that might cause the problem. Somehow, after I set certain preset on latest Sexlab Defeat Post Assault module, it stopped ctd. Then I install Private Need, play, and create few new saves. Test if this mod might cause ctd. Right now, I've got no ctd on load.

this isnt a necessity, though i think since i uninstalled it anything i try to sell has no value. . . . .

Because ure not clean anything u sell will have a low value until u take a bath and ur speechcraft returns to normal, u stink and ure covered on dirt, so anyone taking something from u thinks is trash, maybe if u clean scripts when u unistalled, maybe u don't disabled the modules
