Hey i'm having a small problem. Everything works fine except for the pee texture. It is just a purple stream. I've tried everything. Even uninstalling everything and reinstalling skyrim. I am using version 2.11. The mod is still functional, it just looks kind of funny.

Im sorry but i seem to have a constant problem with the bathing option everytime i run loot.. 
i always have to switch the load order and put it between rnd and realistic water 2 and now thats not working .. also the other options i've tried are

-putting at the end of load order 
-the beginning of load order
-un-installing
-new game
- running fnis everytime i start game
-typing stop and start pnhotkey and privateneedsmcm
-un-installing and adding after making new save with and without..
-i have zaz animation and even re ran that 
-i have the toilet mod u require ..

thats all i can think of but i have everything need except that option

like i said sometimes it will work when i mess around with load order or whichever many process i try .. which i do them all and idk sometimes they work other times they don't..
my character still gets dirty but she just cant bath .. she can use the other animations

i just did a clean save on alpha 6 but the mcm is not showing up i tried the console stopquest privateneedsmcmconfiquest  and start quest

v3 alpha 6 is too buggy to be playable in a serious playthrough. I'll wait for an update.

Specifically I have:

 

- random CTDs at load

- jet black body overlay, sometimes flashing for a fraction of second when changing gear, sometimes remaining forever until I reload a previous save or deactivate PrivateNeedsNew.esp (save & load after it starts sticking doesn't help).
- MCM menu sometimes disappearing, not always coming back after typing "stopquest PrivateNeedsMCMconfigQuest" followed by "startquest PrivateNeedsMCMconfigQuest" and waiting a while

 

All of this immediately stops happening after I disable the esp and clean the scripts so I'm pretty sure it's caused by Private Needs.

 

Author I'm counting on you, Private Needs is a huge improvement in realism an I'd love to play it more!

Using V3 alpha 6

 

Getting a lot of problems, solved 1.

 

Problems...

 

1. Body turns black... unwear and wear an item of clothing fixes it for me, for a while...

 

2. Shopkeepers won't let make any money off my items that I sell them, because I was filthy... managed to finally clean myself up, but effect still persists. Hoping it has a slow recovery effect, checked creation kit and it may be true, although I am not very good with the Creation Kit.

 

3. Soaps don't seem to work, even though I do have them, I just don't get the option coming up to use them. Nor do any of the extra menu's that I have seen in the Creation Kit. Just piss, shit and bath on the menu's.

 

EDIT... the privacy menu is working for bathing...

 

4. Bathing, I finally got the bathing animation to work. It also cleans me, although my rating for speechcraft is still in the sewers, with shopkeepers giving me minus amounts for each item that I try to sell them.

 

I found and started using a program called WRYE BASH ( standalone version ), I am using it just for the mod load order function. There are icon box colours, green is good, orange is out of order ( some mods orders conflict with other mod load orders ), then there is pink boxes. If the pink boxes are ticked, It meant I was missing a mod to get them to work.

I just used a program called LOOT to get a rough load order, then moved the mod load orders in WRYE BASH around until I got mostly green boxes.

 

The nexus mod manager didn't show any difference to its load order, but my game stopped crashing all the time. Still crashes, but only a fraction as much. I just load up Wrye bash, close it then play Skyrim. I have only been using it for four days, so I don't know if I am using it right.

 

Anyway... this is my load order that got the bathing option working, soap doesn't work, speechcraft at present is soo low that I currently can't sell anything.

 

I can bathe in water like lakes and pools, even a few inches deep, ankle depth. I can bathe under waterfalls, I can't bathe in streams, I can't bathe in horse troughs...

 

I am only publishing this out of frustration, I love the mod. But it needs some tweaking to get it to perfection, I wish I was better with the creation kit... If you find out why my character is turning black, or why the soap option doesn't work, or a fix for my minus amounts when trying to sell stuff, then please leave an explanation.

 

If have also uploaded my Nexus Mod Manager load order, that works with bathing. In case I am not using WRYE BASH correctly, which is possible... The majority of the files marked with CD in the Nexus load order are switched off, as I don't currently have all the add on files...

Guys, I have a problem with the Private Needs 3.0 Alpha. I have Defecation enabled, but only my bladder ends up increasing. I only get an option to urinate, but never defecate. Help?

i had an issue like that, in my case my bowel size was so utterly massive that my character never needed to defecate. I suspect one of the more popular mods conflicts with the bowel values because after I moved private needs much higher in my load order my bowel size was significantly more reasonably sized when I started a new game...the bowel size for me now is about 504 but before it was a bit over 4000!

Anybody know how to get the shopkeepers to give me plus amounts of gold, instead of minus amounts for my stuff that I want to sell, it was originally caused by me getting extremely scruffy because I couldn't get the bathing option to work. Switching off hygiene doesn't clean you, nor does uninstalling the mod fix the problem.

 

Even without private needs installed, I still get minus numbers for everything that I want to sell...

 

Multiple bathing gets me clean, but doesn't fix the minus amount when selling...

oh on that note of enormous bowel sizes it appears that the issue i mentioned of having over 4k bowel size when starting a new game gives me about 500....yeah it goes back to over 4k if I load that new game now

I need help. I got 3.06Alpha and I got bathing to work once. Now, I'm just getting dirtier and when I go to a stream or something, it doesn't let me bath. I also have a working hygiene [the one that decreases] and one that just stays the same and never gets removed, which is "clean".

 

EDIT: Now I have three: Clean, Dirty, and Unkempt.

Since i've installed the mod i had issues, seems won't work properly with my large list of plugins, i think sources of problems are plugins like "realistic needs and diseases" or "pure waters", but in a past "test gameplay" it  worked with pure waters, also with realistic needs and diseases installed after starting game...

console commands of mcm and hotkeys works... unfortunately on mcm disappear frequently times...

Maybe if i try to force bathing animation with console commands, can i continue this savegame with the plugin installed?

or maybe with a uninstall... then a save withouth the plugin and clean the save with save tool... and THEN reinstall the plugin, will work properly... but question is... i'll do that anytime i have bath problems...??

PCEA seems causes problems to many mods... but i've installed pcea time ago, and seems works fine, also with mods like sd, and other which autor confirm some conflicts... i don't think it's the problem... NPC private needs works fine... no mcm problems, and npc's pee and poo work...

I want run this mod, i like, but i must to solve this issue...

I know the bathing option doesn't work unless its at the very bottom of your plugin load order, which it isn't in your load order that you supplied.

 

For bathing in any water, you need another water mod instead of purewaters. Its realistic water 2 mod.

 

If using purewaters mod, someone in this list of posts made a patch so you can bathe under waterfalls. As with purewaters mod, you can't bathe in water, only under waterfalls with the patch...

 

I've tried all sorts to get the soap to work, but haven't found how to get to work yet.

 

Plus... you've got to run Generate FNIS for users, pressing the update FNIS behaviour button... to get the animation to work.

 

The mod needs an uninstall option in the MCM to remove effects before uninstalling, as I can't sell anything, as I get a minus number....

thanx for helpful info... found the patch and installed... i've tested the patch scripts... after a save with uninstalled plugin, and cleaned with the tool, i've reinstalled the plugin of private needs... and ...seems works fine! with pure waters... for now i can continue... poo and pee tested,  bath two times tested....seems after reinstallation my character was really full..!

for now i remain with pure water...

the save tool remove all orphan scripts... so the plugin reinstalled restart completely... i hope the problem is solved now and in the future... of the game...

Yeah! just remember to move the private needs mod to the very bottom of your load order, whenever you install a new mod. As it has to be on the very bottom of the load order for some reason, or the bath function will stop working...

REQUEST's...

 

I've noticed 3 main problems, including my own that tend to constantly appear. 3 things, I reckon would fix most, if not all problems...

 

 

1. BATH ANYWHERE... A bath function, that is not dependent on anything. You hit the button anywhere and have a bath.

 

2. CLEAR ALL STATUS EFFECTS... A clear all function in the MCM, that clears all the effects of the mod. Piss, Shit, Bath, Speechcraft back to normal.

 

3. UNINSTALL... An uninstall function in the MCM, that will remove all negative effects before uninstalling and stop the mod.

it's impossible for me to run a good working gameplay with this version... damn... i must uninstall

Yeah! I get CTD from accessing the MCM menu, you have to reload until it doesn't CTD. Sometimes you need to give it a minute to load, before accessing the MCM menu. With my save, it always took about 3 reloads before it would let me use the menu without CTD.

 

The dirt effect messed up my game,  before I got the Bath option working. I got very filthy, the shopkeepers gave me a minus amount for my stuff to sell. I messed around with uninstalling and reinstalling and cleaning a lot,  it broke the game and I can't make any money selling stuff.

 

I've uninstalled the mod, I recommend you switch off the hygiene function if you can, and use the bath function before uninstalling.

 

I love the mod, but like I said in an earlier post. It's just a few steps from perfection, its frustrating as it is...

i also i've decided to uninstall, i tried version 2.11 but after tried the alpha version the 2.11 result less functional than the last version...

And i had also problems with SOS, seems have a very little bug that causes problems with schlong sizes, but it's annoying...

in my game experience seems the plugin scripts  interrupt minor functions of some mods... but i really like this plugin...

i've uninstalled and cleaned the save with save tool cleaner, deleted all scripts  withouth issues, also hygene.

Would it be possible to turn off collision on the outhouses? My character has almost gotten stuck a couple of times. Also it would be nice if you could change the point of view in the MCM menue from behind the character to the front while using an outhouse or pissing and shitting out in nature.. or in public.. if you're into that sort of thing.

 

Otherwise I like the mod for the hour or two I've had it running in my game so far.

You need to put the private needs plugin to the very bottom of your load order, or bath wont show up.

 

You need the water 2 mod to bath anywhere

Pure water with the patch, that someone posted here somewhere. To bath under a waterfall...

 

Its better just to turn off the bath option, as it is extremely difficult to get it to work and keep it working. It can also mess up your game, giving you a minus amount when you sell to traders. It happened to me, permanently screwed up my game...

 

This mod has a lot of potential, but needs a few tweaks to make it stable... I love the mod, but it currently doesn't love me...

 

Check out my posts for my printed load order, that works with bathing... But truthfully, until its fixed, I'd just switch off the bath option in the MCM...
