Probably a newbee question

This is probably a question that has been asked in the past and answered, but if it has I cannot find anywhere in these forums or through google that answers it, so....

There is a 'glitch' that shows up on the face of the female characters in oblivion (see screen shot), just below the nose. I have tried everything I can think of to remove it but I am not sure what causes it. Can someone tell me what causes this and if it can be resolved. (I know if I install head06 then it is resolved, but I don't want to use this mod at the moment).post-29732-0-59273000-1371691090_thumb.j

Does UV of texture not deviate from mesh which you use?

No, the UV and mesh are the standard ones that come with Oblvion GOTY, there are no mods loaded except IFT and I removed that mod to make sure it wasn't causing a problem. I have (since posting the attached screen shot) re-loaded oblivion GOTY with no mods what so ever and I still get the problem, so it must be in standard Oblivion. I was wondering if someone can confirm this and tell me if it is the head mesh that is causing the problem or the _n.dds file? I was then going to have a go at trying to fix it, but I am at a loss if it is standard Oblivion or something I am doing or even where the problem lies.

You said that you do not install Mod but there is not NPC called Miranda in BSA of Oblivion.

You open the console screen, and, please click NPC.

ID is displayed by the screen upper part.

Please put the screenshot.

In addition, please write the load order.

A high-ranking parttimer of the ID is mod index.

So I understand which Mod NPC is defined in.
