Yup, you've got a point.

Claudia's Little Secret works fine as a good guy mod, even a heroic mod with the SMoC tie in, but that's not a Lovers mod, just a mod some of the Lovers team has worked on.

LoversBed is actually neutral if you just use it to give couples a sex life, but you're still spying on them as they have sex. Same with Friends and Lovers.

LoversStupidNPC has good guy quests (rescuing grateful maidens) and good guy NPCs, though also bad guys who will try to rape you if they can.

The base LoversWithPK package plus Ashals new Lovers_Voice_SSP_Plus actually works really well to either give you a romantic relationship with your companion or another NPC.

LoversMagic doesn't have to be used for rape. You can use it to build sex energy through consensual sex and then cast the various spells as a "Good" sex mage. But the dark side is strong.

CursedArmor can be played at first as a good girl who is cursed and slowly corrupted, but you reach a point in the plot where a Good character would have to just give up on advancing the story any further; to continue would mean becoming a slaver.

Dark Bloodlines can be played as a good guy (or girl) all the way through, but it's incomplete and requires console commands (enableplayercontrols) to get through a few sticking points.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all; your character is either going to be the victim of multiple rapes or a multiple rapist and slaver if you mix and match the Lovers mods without really carefully roleplaying and tweaking the settings. I'd love to see more Good Guy mods with sex. Rescuing captive maidens and actually having a loving relationship with your companions is a great start, but there's more you can do. A Good Guy path for sex magic would be my favorite, a new Cult of Dibella mod, the full integration of Claudia's Little Secret into Lovers, etc.

Yup, the dating stuff and rescue-and-reward is the closest you really get to good guy adventures.

There just aren't that many Good Guy sex fantasies outside of rescuing the maiden, dating and marriage. I've use the Romance mods on Nexus and then Lovers so that my character can actually have a sex life with his companion, but that's a pretty vanilla fantasy.

Romance is also harder to write well than kink or rape. So is comedy, the other obvious Good Guy path. CLS is the only comedy mod I can think of that really makes me laugh.

A Temple of Dibella mod with Lovers could work, but would probably need to be comedy. I'd love to see a full dating sim using Lovers as well.

Agreed.

The latest Vilja mod with the new romance is close to a perfect romance mod, once you add Lovers for sex, but that kind of mod is almost impossible to make. Emma was willing to spend endless hours writing and recording 5000+ lines of dialog to make Vilja feel real.

Heart of the Dead is very impressive, but that's the work of a professional game designer and a bunch of modders and voice actors who contributed to the project.

There are other good romance mods (Viconia, Saphira, Eyja, Stoker, more), but there's always a huge investment of time to get them right. Which is also true of any great quest mod. (CLS. Seriously; it's one of the best mods you can find for Oblivion.) You're just not going to see as many of them as you are of things one or two modders can put together in a week.

And with most of the romance mods you hit that final sad stage when there's no more story to tell. The only one close to an exception is Vilja, and that only because it's unlikely you'll keep playing the same character long enough to hear everything she has to say.

Also, what do you think is easier to make? A romantic quest mod/good guy saves the day mod etc, or a rape/ prostitution mod where there is little dialogue or "effort" needed?

It seems to me that most Lovers modders have rape/monster sex/prostitution fantasies so they translate this into mods.

That's not f'd up, it's pretty much universal law that the good guys have no fun and the bad guys have no limits.

Hell, in my opinion the good guys are the ones trolling the bad guys.

And it makes total sense to find a rescue more boring than getting gang attacked. With captive maiden, If I rescue the dumb bitch I like to "punish" her to make sure she doesn't get captured again, just to spice up my game a little.

Aria and Madd two former members of this team had working vore and dolcet mods they still had bugs but both worked. Madd said somethings that was to put it mildly extremely stupid to Aria.

She got pissed quit the team and refuses to release the Rancor + other creatures with their animations nor will she release anything to do with the cannibal club.

she gave me the statics but they are just about worthless.

Madd then got pissed at me for calling him a pile of shit for all the crap he pulled and likewise quit.

i think some of the wip pics are on these forums and nexus if i can find them i'll link them.

completely animated, she works both professionally and as a hobbyist.

If I could ever get the hang of animating in blender I might one day be able to make use of the statics she gave me.
