anyone know of a mod that replaces all the grass of skyrim with snow? and maybe add lore friendly christmas lights?  I was sorta wanting a christmasy feel in skyrim recently.

This : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46628/? . The winter version actually increases FPS in some instances due to the fact it removes much of the grass in Skyrim.

 

 

Word of warning though, that mod fucks up your weather mechanics in skyrim.

 

 

how so? does it make it all snow?

 

 

You'll get ONLY snow in skyrim, no thunderstorms, no rain etc

 

 

I'm ok with that.  I honestly prefer just snow in winter anyway.  better than getting rain that freezes the roads irl.

Hello, this appears to be a female-fitted version of one of Geralt's armors from the Witcher 2.  However all the witcher armor/pack mods I've checked seem to be male only.. does anyone know where I might find this?

Awhile back I heard a music replacer that added bagpipe music and action packed battle music. Sound familiar? If not, what is your favorite music replacer?

Sounds familiar, but I can't place it right off hand. But as for a music replacer, I use Personalized Music. It let's me choose what music I want.

 

Plus with Personalized Music, you can download all of those music mods and then just take their music files and put them in your Personalized Music folders instead. This way you still get all those music mods and they all work together.

 

With Personalized Music, I have a mix of Warcraft, Diablo II, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Guild Wars, etc and tons of different fantasy and classical music in my game. Just get yourself an Audio Converter and you can add any music to Skyrim. If I could upload a copy of my Personalized Music, I would. But a lot of it is copyright music.

Someone an idea of any really good looking weapons with glowing runes? preferably two-handed swords. Or some texture that i could add to a weapon, preferably the nodachis from Immersive Weapons.

 

If possible no vanilla retextures.

There is also one for the Skyforge weapons on the workshop. Generally there aren't very many, which I think is pretty dumb considering how easy they are to make. I did my own Dragonspear for example.

Those two ae excelent mods,I really recommend them for anyone,just know that the personalized music has MANY musics slots,which is good,but at the same time you need to gather more musics ^^

Hello, im back looking for a few things. For one is there any playable Violin mods out there? i don't think it is to far fetched for the lore of the game, considering Lutes at one time were changed into Violins. If not maybe just a wearable violin mod? Something small and an accent piece.

 

Second, im looking for a new ear mod, i love the ears in Nouserhere's ears, but i like the flat out ears look sometimes too! i think they are rather cute. Like the ears below.

If it is a race mod i'd be happy to download that! i love the character's look.

 

Also im looking for some Feral fur or hide looking armors, that aren't so much skimpy as just bare because it's feral looking - for females.

Oh lol, my bad didn't see that at the first glance. That's too elvish unfortunately. Both the runes and the weapons. Infact those runes look really LOTR like. O_o

I apologize if this has been covered  before, i'm looking for a chainmail that can be worn under other armors, perhaps something like the ones used in daedric chainmail, i saw http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37962/? but i'm looking for something thats more of an actual item, thanks in advance for any answer.

Fair enough. In my mind glowing runes are glowing runes. As I said before there really have not been many. You can try an track down the Michael Moorcock Runesword that was up for a time, not sure why it was hidden, but atleast for my use i pulled out the script and what not. It may be more up your ally. In general though I just make my own, its pretty easy with gimp and nifskope.

An actual item is going to need to be part of the items mesh or you will get some really ugly clipping results.

Is there a mod that adds modern military uniform or military combat armour? Maybe even something like SWAT combat gear to skyrim?

Do any mods exist that make uniforms actually matter? E.g. if you dress in Whiterun guard armor you are assumed to be a guard (and since it comes with a full face helm a nice way to avoid bounty collection from other guards), or if you decide to walk into Solitude in Stormcloak armor you wont make it to the front gate?

 

I am aware of the Civil War Overhaul that supposedly added the stormcloak/legion function but I also got a lot of CTDs and other random things trying to use it so I had to remove it and start over. I am also using Sneak Tools for the identity concealing masks which is nice so far but I was hoping to find a mod that does more.
