Oblivion Mod Newbie

Hello everyone. I just got Oblivion off Amazon for 25 bucks and all the expansions to go along with it. I played Skyrim before this so I am interested in the lore. However I noticed there are just as many mods for Oblivion as there are for Skyrim. Can anyone tell me which mods I should download to start me off? Would appreciate it greatly. Here are my interests to narrow them down.

 

1. Realism: Eating/sleeping, using latrines(Bathrooms) diseases and illnesses. Pregnancy for females if possible. Anything to make the game more real.

 

2. Adult Content: Skyrim had Sanguines Debautery, Esterus Charus,Sexlab (And its addons) and others. Anything in this category would be great since

adult content makes the game more interesting.

 

3. Armour: Can be lore friendly or non just nothing too crazy.

 

4. Graphics echancers: This is kind of important to me. I have a power house gaming laptop and I know this game has aged a bit so graphic improvements would be a great bonus.

 

I know what you're all thinking. Why not just search and download them yourself? Unfortunately for me I currently live in a area where there is no internet access save for dialup. This makes downloading near impossible. I need to use my cell phone as a internet spike to go online but that is very limited and if I web search too much it can become extremely costly. Any time I download mods is usually when I visit my brother. So a list from anyone would be greatly appreciated so when I do get access to the internet I'll have a list to get me going and I wont be spending hours searching for them. Before I start to look at what you want, what exactly do you want to see as "adult content"? Brutal and bloody fights? Rape? Necrophilia? Bestiality? You know, there are many, many mods that satisfy different fetishes, so just aksing for any wouldn't really fit your needs.

My apologies. I should of explained that in greater detail. Slave/Kidnapping, Rape, add to realism imo. Beast would be alright too but not necessary. Sorry about that.

Otherwise xLovers is similar to Sexlab but because it's much older many of its plugins are more refined than the ones of SexLab.

Just another quick question, Do I need to use a system like Skyrim's FNIS (Generate FNIS For Users) and Boss to activate these mods?

You need a mod manager. I suggest TESMM. Boss helps you sort your load order - which will be very useful, but technically not required.

 

You will probably also want Wrye Bash.

 

There is no system like FNIS for Oblivion.

Thank you kindly everyone. I'll save these links for now but I spent all night trying to get Oblivion to work and I kept getting errors which related to either unable to load the game properly or Nexus Mod Manager would not load with the game. After fighting with it until 8:30 this morning I gave up for now. I'll try again in the near future.
