Ehhh, I'm gonna chime in here just for the record, I had the bloat issue. 50m saves, got rid of the mod. saves down to regular size, reinstalled,, then tried the no npc vs npc option, and so far no bloat, but I'm testing settings and will let people know if I find anything else

I'm at 14 mb saves currently, but I've had defeat on for a good bit, don't think it'll bloat too far beyond what's currently there.

Besides the unmoving wolves, every time I get knocked down so far, when there's more then one guy (and happens even when there IS one guy) they stand, then just walk away. And I'm stuck kneeling and no way to get up. I set the knockdown time to 30 seconds and I am quite sure 30 seconds pass. Nothing.


 


Any suggestions? I reinstalled everything after a matchmaker test, and Defeat is the only thing I have problems with (mainly - Romance doesn't seem to agree with Pantea).

Can someone who has the companion stuck on body problem can send me his save with this bug happening in it please?

 

it's kinda easy to recreate,

 

The minute you get the notice that your companion wants to rape the victim, kill the victim.

 

It doesn't always occur and it can always be 'fixed' with the cleanup function. I dont think that the companion being stuck over a body is a big problem. 

 

 

I also noticed that savegame bloat start to happen at these point. I've follow someone advice in the general troubleshoot to reinstall the mod to eliminate the bloat. And also disable npc vs. npc is you has Immersive Patrols. It can cause CTD when heavy fighting occurs due to many script fired and Skyrim 3.1gb limit

Companion with you? Which scenario? Check your log.

 

I've been playing this version on a new game in a new PC for the last 2 weeks (about 40 hrs of gameplay) with very few issues.

 

On the PC staying knocked down issue I noticed something once when it happened and have been paying close attention ever since to see if that is always the problem. Skyrim is a little better at pathfinding but still not perfect what I noticed was that one of the NPC's was trying to get to me and couldn't make it through a wall or other obsticle. After seeing this the first time I have used freecam everytime it happened and there is always a bandit or something that can't get to me if you wait long enough they sometimes find there way and it plays fine.

 

Follwers also seem to break the mod if you get knocked down about the same time as they do (clean up spell takes care of it) followers generally screw up everything anyway I only used one for testing probably not much that can be done about that.

 

As far as savebloat goes I have no idea what everyone is talking about my first save file is about 5mb and my current save is almost 7mb.

 

I haven't tried the hideout stuff and don't intend too since you said you were making it a seperate mod. The mod seems pretty stable for me maybe reducing the radias that the npc can be grabbed for the gangbang effect would help with the PC staying down issue or maybe not since a lot of times there coming from up high when they get stuck and I don't belive there is any way to change the vertical range they can be grabbed. Great mod I'm enjoying the hell out it.

If you are in All down scenario and have followers and they eventually get knocked down in their turn and are far away aggressors are actually removed from the list of aggressors when the script switch states as they are too far, this is corrected for the new version, you'll also get on your feet automatically if your followers kill the remaining aggressors.

Similarly (and similarly not a big deal), several times when my pc was being raped (with no followers in my own play experiences of this) if someone - a guard or whatever who wanders by - kills the npc while they are still actively raping, the dead npc will end up floating in air... vertically, horizontally, diagonally. They are still lootable and all that. The only issue is the anti-gravity corpse. Very minor indeed. But, I mention it in case it is related to the above issue, which I have also had, just as azmodan22 describes. Sorry if this is a waste. I'm still learning how to use mods myself and as yet know nothing of their creation.

Ok, heads up again on the bloat, After some half dozen hours or so, I noticed the saves creeping back up, despite having npc vs npc disabled, so that just slows the bloat, rather than stop it. I concur that unloading the mod, playing without it for a bit then reloading it does reset the script bloat. This is script bloat btw, confirmed by papyrus data transfer eliminating all scripts in a save. So I imagine those in the know about how skyrims save system works with scripts can get a handle on the precise cause of this

So I had the mod work successfully once with a group of forsworn, but since then it doesn't seem to work at all. When the right conditions are met (have my health threshhold set 60% and minimum health at 0%), my character looks like she's about to fall down but then stands right back up and continues the fight. Followed installation instructions to a tee, what am I missing?

Just a word of advice, but you should probably post you load order and a papyrus log of the error if you want any real help.


 


it does seem like something else is forcing your character out of the knockdown state. do you have any mods that work with the player's health value? have you had any on that save in the past, allowing loose scripts to still be firing? Try putting it at the bottom of your load order, or as low as it should go according to anyone at all smarter than me. that may not help in the case of uninstalled mods leaving scripts in the save file, so consider the question still open.

I am using the latest version. I ran FNIS before turning skyrim on, then again after closing it to be sure. I uninstalled and reinstalled and ran FNIS, still didn't work. Horse anims worked but with MatchMaker.

 

I have the latest versions of both Defeat and SexLab framework.

Companion with you? Which scenario? Check your log.

 

No companions. I tried it with All Down (alone) and No Transition. Wolves didn't move (Troll just killed me and I never fell so dunno about that) and I really don't know how to check the log. I just know that Defeat works until I'm down, then they go about their business. I got raped once but it was a lone guy in Embershard mine. Reloaded an older save, went back to try threesomes, nothing. Tried one on one, nothing.

 

Just...letting you know everything I've had trouble with so far. Romance works (mostly...) and matchmaker never really failed <.< Why can't I be lucky and never run into trouble? Dx

 

EDIT:OK, I goofed. I didn't check for a new FNIS and apparently a new one went up on the 6th. I'll test it tonight when I have time and will get back to you all. I do wanna thanks for your help though - I wouldn't have thought of checking to see if I needed a FNIS update. Im not running the 4.0.4 Creature Pack nor the 4.0.2 FNIS, which is the problem I believe.

I can't seem to rape female characters.  When I press g on downed males I have the option to kill them, revive them, talk to them, tie them up, rob them, rape them, or abduct them.  With females I only have the options to revive them, kill them, or talk to them.  Wat do?

Really great mod, Goubo!!


 


I will admit, I was leery and hesitant about trying this mod for a while as I was really quite hooked on Sex Addict by WaxenFigure for the longest of time, but after having to restart the game, I decided to go all Sex Lab (sorry Waxen) and downloaded your mod.


 


I have noticed a couple of things and did a search and found no one else commenting about these 2 things... figured I would share the problems/observations with you to get your feedback and thoughts on this.


 


  1. I noticed that sometimes, despite being level 30, I am unable to successfully complete an "Assault Attempt" and get "Resisted!" (or %) when going against mages or conjurers. For everyone else, no trouble... maybe it is the shield/barrier around them? Not sure, but don't have any mods that alter those NPCs...
  2. The REALLY big thing I noticed... was for characters that have non-playable armor on them (assassins for example), you can succeed in the "Assault Attempt" and rape them, casting their armor to the side. But DO NOT pick up their armor!!! If you do, it will NOT show up in your "item" inventory, but WILL add weight to your character and it WILL show up if you do a "showinventory" using Skyrim Console Command. 
  • For those who are suffering the same trouble I experienced, you can fix this by going to any chest in your house and empty out your entire inventory that you can, including keys... the only thing you can't remove is quest related items. Once you have done that, open up your Console by using the "~" symbol on you keyboard and type: "showinventory" without the quotes. Then you can remove the hidden items in your inventory by typing drop, the item number and the amount that you wish to drop... (example: drop 0001DB59 100). By typing 100 instead of 1, you can drop ALL of the items from your inventory with that ID number without having to do it one at a time.

Anyhow, hope that helps and look forward to future advances and fixes, please, please, please, keep up the GREAT work Goubo!!

Ok that's interesting, I don't know about a check in papyrus to know if an armor is playable or not but I'll see if I can filtrate those armors to not be dropped or stolen.

 

And about the resist thing on mages, I indeed think that their barrier causes troubles since the assault attempt is a spell when you use the action key (not sure why), it should not be a problem if you use the assault attempt with your activate key though, which one do you use? Did you try with both?

For some reason the key bindings stopped working for SexLab Defeat. I tried making a clean save and reinstall the mod but the key binding still does not work. Is there anything I can try to fix this? I also checked the errors logs and there were none that I can find.

Yep, that's right... somewhere in the expanse of Skyrim there Is a rapist who  not only strips his victims but also picks up their armor and goes: "HEY! I can get money for this!!" :P

Idk if you are interested, but might be useful for Goubo to look at too...  but anyway "Apocalypse Spell Pack" has a "dispel magic" spell that takes magic effects off of friend or foe in sort of an aoe (at least it's there as of v3.04 idk about v4).

 

I haven't really used the spell much myself, but it just might be worth looking at, or at least the scripts anyway.

This is a great mod, but I am sorry to say I am reverting solely to sexlab submit at the moment. While I enjoy all the nice combat things, such as assault and such, I have discovered it to be incompatible with the Better Vampires mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9717/?). It overrides all actions to feed as a Vampire in the Better Vampires mod (done in a similar way, sneaking, interacting, and selecting an option in a menu that comes up), leaving about the only change the "Better" mod has to be the fact that you can toggle whether or not the world hates vampires. (this mod still manages to override the ability to feed off of a corpse, even though you can't assault someone who is dead).


 


Have I missed a compatibility patch, and if not, would it be possible to make one? at the very least, to adjust it so that it doesn't give you assault options on a corpse (for which it will automatically fail anyway), that way it is at least somewhat compatible?

I didn't have any issues like that with corpse feeding myself. Maybe a load order issue?

Try different things,  like sneaking/not sneaking etc.  they effect how defeat handles corpses, but shouldn't change how corpse feeding works with BV.  Also just to point out, you can feed on a corpse without it being a crime as well if not sneaking helps at all.

For some reason, whenever I'm knocked down and when the NPC is about initiate the rape, I get stripped but I'm still stuck in the knockdown state. The NPC gets naked as well, but he's just standing there, cheering for some reason. Any help on this?

DamageAV their Magicka to 0, their defense spells should be extinguished by a lack of Magicka leaving them completely vulnerable.

There is also a flag on the spell (or is it the magic affect?) in the CK which can be set to ignore resistances if you want the spell to work no matter what.

     I have tried every combination of sneaking, not sneaking, weapon drawn, no weapon drawn, magic ready, no magic ready, living enemy, dead enemy, sleeping enemy... the defeat options seem to override any feeding options. I have my load order sorted by BOSS, and the Better Vampires feeding works flawlessly as soon as I disable sexlab defeat in the load order. I can try adjusting the order manually, though I don't have high hopes of success.

 

Edit: reversed their order, didn't work, flipped it back, suddenly they both work. Meh, disregard all this, I have no idea anymore, lol.

Have I missed a compatibility patch, and if not, would it be possible to make one? at the very least, make it so that it doesn't give you assault options on a corpse (for which it will automatically fail anyway), that way it is at least somewhat compatible?

 

I didn't have any issues like that with corpse feeding myself. Maybe a load order issue?

Try different things,  like sneaking/not sneaking etc.  they effect how defeat handles corpses, but shouldn't change how corpse feeding works with BV.  Also just to point out, you can feed on a corpse without it being a crime as well if not sneaking helps at all.

 

 

     I have tried every combination of sneaking, not sneaking, weapon drawn, no weapon drawn, magic ready, no magic ready, living enemy, dead enemy, sleeping enemy... the defeat options seem to override any feeding options. I have my load order sorted by BOSS, and the Better Vampires feeding works flawlessly as soon as I disable sexlab defeat in the load order. I can try adjusting the order manually, though I don't have high hopes of success.

 

Edit: reversed their order, didn't work, flipped it back, suddenly they both work. Meh, disregard all this, I have no idea anymore, lol.

 

 

Which do you have loaded afterwards?  I have better vampires and I want to avoid incompatibilities.
