Easy way to change game...

Can I change the landscape, quest, NPCs, items, etc. with a program that does not involve script? There was one for Morrowingd and I am looking for something simular for Oblivion.

The program alowed you to change the landscape and characters by using what they had in section and you would click and drag the object where you wanted it and change the paramiters on the object or person.:(

Script???

Almost any file you get on the nexus you can just drag and drop into the data file and enable it in obmm and play. There is no longer any need to write or run scripts to install stuff. Also you can get texture upgrades like Qarl's as long as your PC is strong enough to handle it.:)

Yea... I'm also confused, installing mods can sometimes be exactly like morrowind was, just drag files to the data folder, etc...

Unless you mean like the construction set? Doesn't take much scripting to change a characters looks, gender, and race... I think morrowind needed more scripting in the sense that it didn't allow much in it's engines capabilities, so it was lacking in script, but because of that you required even more complex coding skills to do anything really cool then what is required for alot of oblivion mods...

Can you please elaborate? I think alot of people will be unclear of what you mean...

Also i highly doubt you were able to make quests without some scripting involved... unless you use already existing ones, but if you make new ones just because a tools interface simplifies it to a couple of dragging and clicks then there is probably scripting goin on within the tool and it does all that for you or something...

I mean you can already make new npcs and edit existing one, without really messing with scripts.. you can easily place them wherever, and you can even create new land masses and edit the old ones...
