Devious Devices - Integration. (10/9/2015)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'll try my luck. Please direct me to the proper forum if it is not. 


 


I am having an issue with some of the items. The gags and collars show up on my character, but the other items do not. Things like armbinders and harnesses do not render. The animation plays, as my character puts her arms behind her back, but the armbinder is "invisible." Events and restrictions seem to apply, I just cannot see the objects. I have included my papyrus log. Thanks for the help.

I'm having a problem with my installment of DD, it appears that only gags, blindfolds, collars and the collar part of harnesses appear on my characters. I have all the required mods and they're all up to date, DDi, DDa and DDx. I just don't know why they don't appear on my characters. Also when I drop the items on the ground I'm able to see them. 

I have made some pictures regarding the problem :

 

This pic has the DD red ebonite, as you can see only the upper bit appears.

I self believe that something went wrong with the body mods I have installed. I ran the mods with both CBBEv3 and UNPB but they dont appear on either of them.

Anybody know what I do wrong here? If so, let me know.

Mod Organiser and Wrye Bash both recognise the File Structure of the DD Assets and Expansion and can install the requirements for CBBE or UNP/B correctly. I am not sure if NMM is capable of installing the Mods correctly.

DDX requires the 00 Core and 01 CBBE OR 01 UNPB to be installed.

DD Assets requires 00 Core, the appropriate 01 for the body installed, and the appropriate 02 to be installed.

 

 

So if I want to switch between UNPB and CBBE I need to first get rid of the installed files and then install the files of the other mod?

 

Edit : right now I have most mods that I think could affect the body disabled, installed the CBBE only files from DDa, DDx & DDi, still the items dont appear on my character.

Is there a way to have various undress scripts including SkyUI ignore DDi and only go for actual clothing? As it is, as I may have quipped before, they remove everything and turn DDi item meshes invisible though still technically worn.

You need the Files in 00 Core to be installed, because this is where Textures and the Ground Models are from. You then need to install the Meshes that match the Body Replacer, all of the Meshes are in the 01 file for the body.

The 02 Files in Assets are for the Nipple Piercings, if You have a TBBP Body then install the TBBP, a BBP Body needs the BBP files.

You can make a "Mod" by installing everything for CBBE into a Folder, the turning the Folder into an Archive with a name like Devious Devices for CBBE. You can make another Mod by installing everything for UNPB and naming the Archive created to Devious Devices for UNPB. You now can have two identical Folders that can be enabled or disabled when switching Bodies in the Game.

I hope You can understand this.

The 00 file are installed.

The 01 file for CBBE is installed.

The 02 file BBP (CBBE) is installed.

 

I'm using CBBE curvy.

I don't use any bodyslide mods, the mods that I do use that affect bodies are Complete Male Overhaul, Better Male Feet, Extended Slider Colors, No More Blocky Faces and the XPMS skeleton.

Is it at all possible to have the orgasms caused by the plugs to register as orgasms with Aroused, so that the stats are all adjusted properly?

So, bit of an oddity:


 


When I load a save, every time it says 'WARNING: DD Intigration mismatch; requires version 2.82. Version detected: 2.8200000. "


 


Any idea what's going on there?

I have a question regarding the Device Underneath System.


I want, that the chasity Bra couldn´t be seen on NPC´s which wearing clothes or armors. Or did the system only counts for the player character? I already set the device hider in Bras/Piercings, but only for the player it is hidden, not for the npc´s.

Hey, i love this mod, but i feel a bit restrained (pun intended) with the arm restraints. don't get me wrong, i love the armbinder, but i just wish there was a bit more variety with the arm restraints. such as handcuffs made from steel or something like that.

Blindfolds idea...


 


When you've got one on, your pretty much screwed. Your followers wont remove it, and it seems strange to have it so its partially see through.


 


Solution...


 


1. Have your followers dialogue allow for blindfold removal if they have a key, or have them pick the lock or help in trying to remove it. At present, they only remove armbinders.


 


2. Slotted Blindfold... Have some blindfolds with a thin slot cut into them, so it hampers your vision, instead of eliminating it. These could be control blindfolds, to hamper a victim, rather than stop them altogether.


 


3. Frosted Blindfold... A blindfold with frosted glass on the front, gives the player a view of the world. But the view isn't good, its blurry with frosted glass patternation. ( like a frosted glass toilet window, you can see through, but can't really see too much detail )


 


I know you get that effect in the MCM, as I use it. But a dedicated blindfold type that would apply it would be nice...


 


4. Belt Blindfold... It's a thin belt styled blindfold, tight to the face, but doesn't cover all your vision. You can see a little bit at the bottom, and a little bit at the top. This would allow you to see the road to get home, but you would find fighting extremely difficult as you could only see their feet.


 


I just wrote a few ideas, as without the mcm menu option for making the blindfolds semi-transparent (which defeats the purpose of a blindfold). A blindfold is pretty much a death sentence, as you can be standing just a few feet from someone and find it extremely difficult to get to them. Then, unless the NPC is horny, they won't free you...


 


Plus some kind souls in the game, who would help you free yourself would be nice.


Or greedy people, who'll free you for a fee. As well as the sex mad, pervert people to help you, who seem to strangely be in short supply when you're trussed up...

I have recently run into an issue where I lose control of my character when an animation is played via devious device trigger.


 


I've tried waiting, dying, saving and reloading. Reloading skyrim and then the save and nothing returns control back to my character.

Sure, added to the list for 2.83 (Not that I'm working on this just yet, but soon!).

Your scripting environment is a mess: Looks like you probably uninstalled Deviously Helpless at some point? Also, whatever mod the script "_se_playerscript" is from is causing lots of errors. General instability aside, I don't see anything from DD in your log that should be causing control issues: Try resetting the player controls through the Zaz MCM next time the issue occurs.

Interesting. And thanks for the reply. So unlike what I thought, it's possible to fix through DDi equipment states or something and not by editing the other way around?

The easiest way to fix it in the interim, would be to edit the SkyUI unequip routine to use Sexlab's stripActors functionality, instead of "UnequipAll".

Thanks for looking through the log. I'll give that a try.

 

I did uninstall it, but that was months ago and this is a new game that is only around 8 hours into the game, I just started it half way through last week so I shouldn't have anything relating to that in the scripting... unless there is another mod that uses the same scripting.

 

The _se_playerscript is from Spouces Enhanced, I'll ditch that plugin.

 

BTW, what in the log is suggesting Helpless?

Can't finish ForbitenT quest, Urag take off belt and  .. nothing, i can ask him again and he take off notexisting belt...


Sugestion: plugs with stripes for volontiers would be nice

FT quest problem solved by clean option in SL.


On the other hand, SergiusG quest is solvable at all?

Couldn't it be possible to craft harnesses as an accessory, no effects added? I didn't see any hint in the description that it would lock like a chastity belt, and it seems pretty strange that I would intentionally lock myself into gear that I forged myself. I have a key, but this seems like a pretty poor reason to run all the way to my emergency stash for it.

EDIT: I did miss some, however, player.removeitem doesn't seem to be doing the job though, Master at Captured Dreams tried to give me a Free Trial, and Master is SUPPOSED to be scripted to remove everything, even the unremovable.

Ehm hello, anyone mind helping me With an issue i'm having?


 


You see recently i noticed that a pair of chasity bras had attatched themselves to my char and i couldn't find it in my Inventory, so i could not Select it and removeit, getting another pair didn't help, they showed as equipet in my inventory, but when i clicked on them to unequip them nothing happend and i disposing of them did nothing.


 


As i had the captured dream mod i thought that i could get them removed there,: I bought the service to have any chasity items removed.... twice, and still nothing happend.

The Free Trial was not set up to remove items, it was intended for people with no items on. I have made some changes to that so she will remove standard devices you may have on first.

 

 

I have seen the issue with the Chastity Belt quest not ending as well on occasion but not all the time. The function I made to remove belts is set to skip the Mutex function on removal but it goes through a number of checks on the item before it removes them. Equipping and removing a belt will end the quest normally though.

First of all, sorry if this problem has already been solved, but honestly, I don't want to read all the pages to see that.

Si, I'm posting a message because DD - Integration doesn't install properly... Everytime I tried, a pop-up mesage appear, saying:

"A fatal error has occured with your installation of Devious Devices. Incomplete uninstall attemp perhaps? Aborting update chain."

 

It's true that I've uninstalled DD - Integration before, but I didn't think I made something wrong...

 

Can somebody help me? I really want to use this nice mod ^^"
