Ads problem

So I'm kind of a fan of the browser-based game on the E-Hentai website, called Hentaiverse.  Lately, though, when I open the game window to play (such as during a random encounter), once it loads up it automatically redirects to an ad site the consistently fails to load (rbv.jobfindgold.info) or to another site that just closes the browser window entirely.  If it's the former, I can just back out and continue on the game like normal.  I have Adblock Plus installed on Firefox, but thus far it's failed to deal with this problem.

The crux of the matter is that, unlike I had thought, this isn't a game feature.  Something on my computer is causing it and I'd like to get rid of it.  The usual culprit linked to the aforementioned site is called "Barowwsoe2Save", though it can be found under a different name, like Browse2Save.  My problem is that I'm not finding ANYTHING like that on my computer.  There's nothing like that in my control panel's program uninstallation list, nor is it coming up on my anti-virus, or on MalwareBytes.

The information I've been given to about the issue is here: http://www.anti-spyware-101.com/remove-barowwsoe2save

The problem could be on the site itself. Embedded code can be placed on a website causing anyone who tries to access it to be redirected to another site.

This usually only happens when sites are not well maintained, or have been abandoned.   Find out if it is happening to anyone else you might know from that site.

Do not automatically assume your computer is at fault.

I already asked about it on the site's forums, and thus far the response is that it's not the site.  If it's happening to other people, it's very limited, and it is an extremely popular, extremely active website, given that it's a huge, huge repository of hentai pornography provided by users.  So I'm alone in my problem, which indicates that the issue's on my end.

I'm not interested in switching browsers.  All I am interested in is finding the source of the problem and getting rid of it.  Switching to a different browser will mean nothing in the long run if it doesn't get rid of the source of the problem.

http://www.malwarebytes.org Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is free software that removes malaware and spyware it free to download and use. http://www.avast.com/en-us/index AVAST is a free antivirus remover. Both of these are very good I use both on my computer. Download them update them and then run them. Avast also has a nice option if you go to a site and it is a bad site listed for viruses and stuff it will let you know and you have the option to go forward or leave.

Many times when you are being re directed it is either a pop up on the site or malaware/spyware.

I also have ad blocker ghostery hide my ass and do not track me installed on my chrome.

I've already used MalwareBytes, and it failed to find anything related to the problem.  I'm running a deeper scan with it now, just in case.  I have used before, and will never use again, Avast.  While it worked fine for a while, it eventually just froze up my computers entirely until they were removed  The most recent version was also used on my mother's laptop, and it proved it needed immediate removal on account of shutting out the internet entirely despite all attempts to opening up firewalls, etc.  Avast may be free, but as far as being a decent antivirus?  Gonna have to decline.

I'm currently using Microsoft Security Essentials, and will continue to use it until it starts causing problems with my computer.

I meant no offense with my response, so I apologize if I came off that way.  I just want to pinpoint the source of the problem and eliminate it before attempting to do upgrades to my existing programs.  I'll look into ghostery, but if it doesn't have a way to remove already-existing problems I'm not sure it'll be of use to me just yet.

airdance my be correct. I myself once wrote code years ago for a page on my website called " DON'T CLICK ME " that broke the users computer. Basically it was a popup followed by popup after popup followed by shakscreen, you couldn't hit back, couldn't refresh because of the pop up, and the only way to close the page ( at the time ) was to restart your computer. Even a cntrl alt delete wouldn't do it, I had a check for it and would bring the page back to front whenever the user tried. Sure it was a dick thing to do, but I did it as a learning HTML thing, and also, what do you expect from a link named " DON'T CLICK ME " that brought you to a site named " /IWARNEDYOU" . I even had a box pop up that asked if the user was SURE they wanted to go to the site, because it would break their computer. I still had about 15k hits on that thing, and that was an ANGELFIRE site, lol.

Long story short, never trust ANYTHING on the internet.

By investigate and research you can find alot of intresting info on how to prefend getting malware virus or any unwanted. But your behavior also have to change if your still clicking every damn add-icon-link or visit shady sites even best programs can eventually not help you.

register everywhere also don't help many follow you and spy on you, remember that specially google-facebook or microsoft skype bewarned.

If you know how to behave on internet you never need those virus protection programs or any cleaner also all those protections programs like norton or others are not needed at all if you know what your doing with your PC and internet.

P.S I did not reconment Ghostery becouse it would clean your PC, it prefends any invasion block almost everything you don't want. If you already have malware or virus on your PC just format do clean install and learn from your mistakes.
