Can anyone tell me how to do the Stable quest? I've asked before but no one responded.

That's also a mystery to me. I never get that quest.

 

 

that quest doesn`t work even if u start it manualy.. same as orc quest or giant quest

 

 

I never had problems getting them to work. Though they are weirdly random. I often see quests come in strings, where you get the same 2-3 quests in a row a lot and then a new set after awhile. Not sure why. But the last time I tested this mod, I was able to get all the quests to start.

i re-uploaded the scripts, with the obsolete files removed.

Should be less hazzle for everyone.

For everyone who's not using MO, installed the previous scripts and replaced all files with files from the previous archive: Please reinstall JContainers.

For MO users: Place the JC mod after RPT. That's it. Or remove the scripts from RPT that override the ones from JC. Up to you.

 

thx, it`s a better recomp but orcjob quest still doesn`t work(doesn`t start even from console) and stablequest breaks when you turn it in to the jarl. also serving food quest doesn`t work either. i started orc and stable quest manualy from console because i never got them from inn keeper(tried lots of times). i didn`t test the house visit quests.

 

 

PS. i`m not asking for fixes just reporting the bugs

As far as i understood his work, you should better not start those quests manually thru the console and definitly not while still whoring or serving guests.
To have a specific quest trigger, edit the following file: MF_RP_Quests\MR_RP with a text editor of your choice and remove any quest you don't want.

i don't know which entry is what quest, but you'll figure it out eventually.

 

And just to have it mentioned: For me all quests work, even tho the giant quest is a bit glitchy as is the solder camp quest, even tho the camp quest glitch is only that the NPC whore is always naked, especially if it's one of my followers that was whoring in the tavern i got this job from.

So there must be something else wrong on your side. A step in the dark: Create a MergedPatch using TES5Edit (needs manual editing and due to this some knowledge), to cover multiple NPC and faction edits from multiple mods. Solves alot of problems. Makes the tavern wench edits from RPT compatible with CCO (f.e.) as well. And other small goodies you can accomplish with a MergedPatch and an (optional) BashedPatch.

for me the military camp quest works. npc whore doesn`t always whore out and just starts cooking or choping wood but it works. i never so her naked once. the giant quest has few bugs but nothing that breaks it.

i`ll try editing the MR_RP file and see what happens. it`s weird that all quests work for you. i don`t know what other mods break my RPT and i don`t use that many. usualy i run SexLab + current mod that i`m testing + required mods

so i left only the orc quest in list and quest doesn`t start

sometimes i get message that it can`t start sometimes just breaks RPT

i did the same with stable quest. it`s the same as when i started it manualy. when i talk to jarl for reward it bugs out and repeats same dialog

 

it bugs me that they work on ur end so i uninstaled all mods related to sex, reinstaled just requirements for RPT and made a new game.. same thing. freaking skyrim... :(

Just curious did you try making a brand new character and starting the quest with them and see if they work with a new character? I ask because maybe something is wonky in your save file. If so it might be able to be fixed with one of the save fixes out there.

yes new game, clean. maybe some other mods are messing up my games but i mostly have graphical mods and bugfixes. it`s weird cause i don`t have any problems with other sex quest mods.

could "Alternate Start - Live Another Life" mess things up? anyway maybe i`ll uninstall all mods and try again later.

Sorry if it seems a stupid question, but I'm getting a bit confused about these recompiled scripts. When you mentioned obsolete files, did you mean just the 8 jcontainer script files and their corresponding source files?

Were those no longer nessecary, and thus removed, simply not not needed an update and thus not included, or somehow missed and still need work?

 

Also, is this recompiling something that needs to be done every time jcontainers gets updated, or was this an exception?

Meant for the loose version but doesn't matter, as the loose files override those inside a BSA.

And please create a merged patch (TES5Edit) and a bashed patch (Wrye). Might solve the problems if they are based on edited factions and/or NPCs.

it's just a guess, but still worth a try because i always generate those 2 patches.

Yes, the mentioned JContainer scripts, because they are outdated if you installed an up2date version of JC. All other sctipts are needed for RPT to work.

Thanks for the swift reply. So the 34 files that aren't part of your recompile pack are needed then. Will they need to be recompiled as well, or will they work as is? And I noticed that Jcontainers has had an update from 3.1 to 3.1.1. Does this mean everything needs to be recompiled to work with it or not?

Edit: Reuploaded to get rid of obsolete files that may cause problems on some systems. Especially if those obsolete files replace JCs files. My fault, sorry.

CGI - I apologize if this has been answer, but I didn't see it anywhere. My question is: Do we need t install any version of the original mod first and then your re-scripted file over it, or your script is sufficient for mod to work properly? Thank you.

No I am using Live Another Life myself, so that wouldn't be it. Yeah hard to say but seems odd that only some of the quests don't work. I don't really have a clue what would cause that.

1. 34 files my upload misses? it only misses the JC scripts, everything else (that's needed for RPT) is in the archive.


2. No recompile needed. i compiled with V3.1.1 anyway and the diff between 3.x.x and 3.1.1 is minimal so it would not affect anything.

I figured out where the difference i found came from. I was comparing the scripts in your file to the loose files version (Radiant Prostitution Tweaked 1.08b loose.zip), and that one has 34 scripts more. However when compared to the BSA version (Radiant Prostitution Tweaked 1.08b) the file lists match exactly. So the question isn't whether you missed them, but why is there a difference between the loose files and the BSA.

You know, I've been reading back through this thread a bit, and seen quite a few back and forth arguments about some quests working or not. Could the difference experiences of players be caused by which download they use?

I cant get the home delivery quest to trigger? I can do the first quest (take food to the customers), but can't get the second ones dialogue to come up. I've had 10 clients so i imagine thats enough to advance the story, but i can't trigger it? I apologise if this has been answered before.

@Yukashii: Mmmhhh... you're right. For reasons unknown to me, the loose version comes with more files and as you guessed correctly, i used the BSA version which i unpacked. i've got to investigate this some time this weekend.


 


Edit: i guess the author used Archive.EXE from inside the CK to create the BSA, which would mean that the CK didn't include the mentioned files as they wasn't used at the time the BSA was created. But as i can't be to sure, i'll have to look into this.

I have a question.  No matter what, when a female propositions my female character, it will only use lesbian animations, no matter what.  Is there a setting where I can allow male - female animations as well?

I encountered a rather infuriating bug which has been reported earlier. But I've not found a solution in this thread (either by non-existence or blindness)


 


Namely the mod stopped working altogether. No quest is starting and MCM gets unresponsive when the quests tab is tried to be opened.


I tried nearly everything short of a fresh Skyrim install. So far nothing has worked ...


 


I am using MO.


Anyone knows a solution?

Yeah this mod has a tendency to ruin save games. The only way to fix it is to go back to an older save from before the error started occuring. Then avoid this mod because it is broken.
