Member Grouping Explanation?

so my "group" keeps changing..... what exactly do the different groups mean? thank you guys/gals.

Members = Normal plebeians

 

Contributors = Green Aliens

 

Moderators = Barney the Dinosaur

 

Administrator = The Devil

 

Orange = The ultimate fruition of happiness and purity.

No, you just confirmed that I fail at understanding other people.

 

Hmm, can't say I know the difference between those, but there was a thread about it wayyy back that I forget the name of.

 

Anyway hopefully some people got a laugh out of my distorted view of the LL 'hierarchy' xD

i don't understand people either, so i think we can rule out me confirming that for you. and i got a laugh alright.

Seems to be a bit of a quirk with the system. I think it's based on how many posts you've made. You start off Junior, then you go to Advanced, then you go to just "Member." Seems like Advanced Member should come after Member to me, but they're the other way around. Once you get to (I think) 100 posts you can type in your own member title on your profile settings page.

 

You haven't been demoted or anything, and it's just a name, nothing more. Happened to us all

thank you guys. yeah, i thought i had been demoted...... i was trying to think of what i did. would make more sense to me if it was the other way around with member and advanced member, not being sarcastic (no, really) i guess "they" know better than me. thanks for the info again guys.

It means nothing other than the amount of post you made. Not sure of the numbers to naming. After a series of post you will be able to change that "title" (like Senior Member) to something you like as in my example "Shrink Ray Aficionado"

 

When you do something wrong the Purple will tell you and if it is bad enough you will see a warning point below your name. Generally if you try to follow the rules no serious issues will arise. This isn't the Nexus.. . So long as no warning points you are doing great.

 

 

Contributors = Green Aliens

This also includes Oranges. . Contributors are members that have been selected for various contributions to the community. That is all. they really aren't  much difference from normal members. There is only one alien that I know of there
