Custom Mesh Question

If you modify a body mesh in Blender, how do you get it back in game?

I modified one, then exported the mesh, stuck the _0 weight mesh into a folder that contained the hand/feet, zipped it and installed it. In game I have the red diamond with the exclamation point instead of a body. I've slipped body mesh .nif files into folders before and they worked fine. So it's in my method of exporting?

Could someone here PLEASE give me quick directions to get it back into the game? I do have, and can use, Nifskope here. And I can follow directions. So can someone help me here?

No idea how blender works, but have you tried double checking your exported nif to a working femalebody.nif?

Only things I can think off the top of my head, are bad skin partitions/data, and incorrect BSshader flag settings.

Both of those you can just check by comparing in Nifskope.

Can I open two nifs in Nifskope? Any time I try to open another the original closes? Or would I have to have to instances of Nifskope running to do this?

I didn't export it to a working one, just a file where I've been saving stuff for this little project.

2 instances of nifskope side by side usually to just compare the nifs.

Ahhh, good to know. I didn't want to open it twice if it was going to cause me issues. I've had other programs get confused like that. :D

When I open this nif in Nifskope it doesn't have any of the grey texture added. It's just a white shape. That seems to be indicating there's an issue.

After exporting from blender you need to change user version to 12, and user version 2 to 83 in the niheader.

You also need to remove BSShaderPPLightingProperty, NiSpecularProperty and NiMaterialProperty and add in BSLightingShader for the textures, also BSDimemberment needs to be changed to Skyrim one - 32 for body.

Creating an armour for Skyrim probably explains the blender/nif process better.
