Seeing Yellow

You know how when you have to pee so bad and you can't stand it? Well, now the Dovahkiin knows how that feels. The longer you go without peeing, the more yellow everything turns until relief is had. If you go more than a day without peeing, there is a chance you might accidentally leak a few drips. And if you go into combat on a full bladder...

Beta Version Available (3b)

  • The beta version adds guards getting mad at you if they catch you peeing out in the open.
  • Adds the ability for them to catch you if they round the corner while in the act.
  • Changed the detection conditions a bit.
  • Currently only city guards while I get the detection conditions right. Nobody else will notice.

First time you load this mod, your screen will go so yellow. Why is that? Because unless you are starting a new game, you've gone so long without peeing you are about to explode - so get that taken care of.

This is not mean to force you to play real life. You can actually go 1.5 game days (tweakable with mcm) without peeing before the yellow tinting starts. From that point on it gets yellower and yellower. There is a new spell in the power list called [sY] Go Pee. Originally I tried to add this feature (yellow tinting) to the Private Needs mod because I would almost never notice the text prompts... but I couldn't wrap my head around how weird that code was (no offense honest - but... globals everywhere, ew, and...)

Currently only the player will feel the effects unless you manually give an NPC the spell. However, they won't relieve themselves as of today, they might just leak a bit.

Notes

  • Now with MCM
  • So now you can tweak the few settings there are so far. If you are upgrading from before this mod had an MCM, I highly suggest you go into the MCM > Repair > Reset Mod.

  • 1.5 days before you see the effects of not peeing.

  • After 1 day of not peeing, there is a chance you might leak abit on your daily business. You won't notice this unless you play in third person.

  • After 1.5 days of not peeing, there is a chance you might critically leak. When this happens she will actually stop for a moment and have to try to stop. If she does critically leak, that will actually provide some relief.

  • In combat a critical leak will not stop you, because combat is serious fucking business. You'll just leak a lot more (and therefore get more relief).

  • I have no plans to add pooping. Its just too much maintenance when I want to play a game. And poop is gross.

  • About Leak & Critical Leak Chance
  • Lets say leak chance is set to 5% and critical leak chance is set to 30%. What this means is that there will be a 5% chance to leak. If she does, then that means there is a 30% chance that leak will become a critical leak. I'm not a math person but I think that means its roughly a flat 3.5% chance she will leak while playing, and a flat 1.5% chance she will critical leak while playing. It's basically rolling two dice, one to determine if a leak happens at all, and a second to determine if its critical or not. Setting critical to 100% would mean there is a 5% she will leak, and it will always be a critical leak.

Known Bugs

  • Sometimes the puddle doesn't show when she pees. It actually is showing, but on a layer underneath the layer she is standing on. The impact decals seem to have a terrible time with ground/floor detection.

Todo

  • People notice you peeing, and probably usually react poorly to it.
  • Bottle pee and poison your weapons with it. Or drink it. Whatever. I don't want to give away the surprise. Personally I want to throw urineov cocktails but I don't think Skyrim has grenade mechanics.
  • NPC/Animals avoid the spot where you peed. Why? You pee on it, its yours.
  • Drinking stuff builds up pee faster.
  • Debuffs for having too full a bladder.
  • Debuff for leaking/peeing on yourself. Like a negative to speech or something for smelling like piss.

Are there alternate animations?


 


Being forced to pee during battle could be okay. If you gotta go you gotta go. Maybe you can choose to wet yourself or you can run to safety yo do your business. Drinking too many potions in battle will actually be a bad idea now. Being hit with a critical maybe make you wet yourself more?


 


You can probably use some of the sex crime mod for public urination.

I approve of this mod. c: I like private needs too, but every time I tried to install that, it just wouldn't function properly, so I went to private needs discreete. This seems fun though! I think I will enjoy this, can't wait until you add some of those features (particularly the customization of rates in the MCM, and the debuffs).

Does the Territory Marking have an expiration time? If not, I could see that aspect breaking/preventing a quest or two where actors are required to move to a specific spot. Getting through doors would pretty much be impossible in that regard, but I didn't test it. Perhaps a Territory Mark Reset if it's not already present?

Yeah, make it a crime in public in city!


 


Pee would make a meh poison.  Pee is pretty clean, actually, it has ammonia in it!  Mebbe it would sting. . .

marking does not exist yet, but when it does, it will of course have an expire time, and the default will be short. honestly the marking is more of a joke/gimmick than an actual mechanic.

right now "Go Pee" will randomly use one of the 5 available Zaz peeing animations. critical leakage will always use the one that looks the most embarrassed.

 

yeah, but, if you were in pitched battle, sword against shield - would you even notice if you pissed yourself until after? and even if you did, your best bet may be to try and pee on your opponent! or if you did notice, would you really care? unlike when randomly walking around a city where pissing yourself would be pure embarrassing, in combat you have the whole fight or flight response already decided by fight.

 

i do like the too many potions in combat bit - but i think to keep the game playable that the punishment should be levied via the debuffs of having a full bladder and not stopping you and getting you one shot. maybe you slip on the puddle in combat on a critical.

at one day it will let you pee after 12 hours. before that it will say she doesn't really need to go.

 

i was trying to stay away from going that small because i think everyone plays with different timescales. BUT at the default timescale of 20 you'd have to stop and pee every 2 hours of real life time, or something to that effect. i guess if you want to you want to, though i was trying to avoid making it tedious to play the game.

 

personally i play with timescale of 5.

It doesn't have to be the default. c: It's adjustable, so if someone feels bogged down by the mechanics, they can just turn up the time. ^_^ I play with default time scale because lots of varying mods use timers, that I have installed. I'd love it if it were adjustable by hour, but if you think it's too burdening, just make the starting (default) setting higher. ^_^ I can just turn it down in mine. I really appreciate you listening to my suggestion. I love the atmosphere here on Loverslab!

Seems to force freecam which is fine by me, but it's a mighty sensitive free cam.  Or perhaps, that's something on my end causing that.

Yeah, that would explain the discrepancy.  I'm probably archaic for playing everything mouse and keyboard style :)

there is an easy fix for that, i should have added. set the camera speed to the one set in sexlab's settings. then the blame is not on me :D

This is one of the most incredible ideas I've read in a while. If you succeed in allowing the player to mark territory with the pee... I can already see me peeing in a radius of one km to create my personal hunting ground... with all the deers inside... that can't go out because there's pee on the edges... oooooh... that's-pure-fun... Thank you very much for this!

Except the camera speed for free cam in Sexlab is exactly right at default, and I free cam every sex act.  Not a big deal, though, seriously.  I just wondered about it being faster in your mod.  It's not like I can't control the camera in Seeing Yellow, it just moves really fast.

What if... now just hear me out... What if the bladder fill time was set to in-game time so it scales directly with the timescale (Like how hunger and thirst in iNeed scale with the timescale). Then you can have an 'hours' slider that moves from 1 to 144 so that if people want to have to go once every hour in game, they can (for whatever reason they may have) and those that want a more realistic bladder fill can tune it to 3 in-game days (afterall, that's how long it takes for the ammonia to build up in someone's system to kill a person if they keep drinking without relieving). Or longer to 6 days if they just want to pee occasionally in game.


 


Oh! and perhaps if you want to get really frickin' technical and shweet, instead of a solid color imagespace, perhaps a liquidous one that distorts the image as if looking through water (I've seen it done... somewhere, I forget where though.) That slowly grows stronger and more pee-colored.

 

 

Good lord, I should not be this excited over a urination mod... I need help.

it already is game time based.

Float now = GetCurrentGameTime()

it doesn't change the fact that all my math is already day based and not hour based. i'm not saying its impossible. just extremely low priority until i get the other mods updated with mcm and other features i *really* want added to this one.

 

the imagespacemod tool in creationkit didn't really have many choices for effects. *shrug*

What about adding outhouses, or an option to use outhouses or buckets/chamber pots later on?


 


Will there be a way later on to save piss in small bottles as a possible potion ingredient, or as something to be sold in potion shops (for example: in ancient times it was believed that a virgin's piss could cure certain sicknesses, Maybe there could be similar beliefs about the dragonborn's piss), or maybe have it turn rancid over time while in your character's inventory, where it can be thrown on or at enemies with a temporary disorienting or fear like affect from the stench?

1) none of the pregnancy mods are doing anything that i can check from this esp without depending on theirs - however i could modify soulgem oven to set a flag and perhaps the others will (doubtfully) follow suit. i can't check on their specific factions they created, they need to use StorageUtil to set universally available data per actor for optional integration without forcing "download this as well". factions are old school imho.

 

2) i hadn't even thought about outhouses. private needs required that i had the outhouse mod installed and i never saw a single one - and i eventually got rid of both.

 

3a) bottle for various reasons - yep.

3b) rancid, probably not. the game doesn't really give you 10 objects of an item with their own unique timers. instead it is just like item_amount + 1  when you pick one up - so i don't think there is a good way to expire half a stack of jars if 5 of them are from last week and 5 of them are from today.

So you're saying, yes in a future update there will be a way to collect and sell your character's piss? Or is that already in the mod?

Damn, that's too bad about the rancid piss idea, that would be kind of funny if it were possible.
