Seeing Yellow

StayFrosty, you wanted to know about male animations. Unfortunately, I can't find any, but I did come up with something that works almost as well. If you set your male character to use animation 4 under the "intentional" slider and you have SOS installed, using shift+pgup to make him erect while peeing looks almost like the real thing... well, okay, not quite like the real thing, but a lot better than him squatting and peeing on his chin. If you don't have SOS installed... um, why not? You need it. Go get it now! Err... okay, well, at least think about it. There's no comparison between a dynamic model and a static one.

I've been trying this mod.  Urine is white insead of yellow.  Do I perhaps need to install something additional, like a water texture pack?

Is it white under all lighting conditions? I ask because with mine it changes colour a bit depending where you are. I don't know if anything else affects colour (e.g., fullness of bladder, how often you go?), but if I'm down in a dungeon it looks different than when I'm outside in the sunshine, just like happens with my eyes and skin tone (my eyes look black inside but are, like, four shades lighter outside and reflective). I find it's usually mostly white with a bit of yellow mixed in... I think my character is really good at getting in those eight glasses of water through the day, very efficient kidneys. Inside, it's definitely darker. If yours is pure white all the time, well, I'd say something is definitely wrong because no, you don't need to install anything else besides this, sexlab and zaz.

Maybe it's my graphics settings then.  When I ran Skyrim for the first time, the setup put my graphics settings on "low". (Running on a laptop.)  I've been gradually moving the graphics sliders in Settings to the right though to experiment with how much graphics my laptop can handle.

Any guess as to which graphics setting might affect something like that?

(I don't get any puddles either, which is another reason I wonder if it is a graphics setting).

it will probably change depending on

1a) graphic settings (decals, distance, etc)

1b) video card settings, there are a bazillion i can't help you there.

2) mods that edit image spaces

3) enb

other than that, i swear its pure gold. if it becomes a problem you cannot solve you can turn off the tinting in MCM. even though that kind of defeats the entire point.

Well, even if it's not yellow/gold, that just means your character is well hydrated. ;)

I was just editing the INI and pumped up some graphics settings and enabled decals, just by copying certain settings from medium.ini.

The game loaded, the mod worked, but same issue as I described.  I can try more tweaking later.

I take it that the puddle is a decal? Assuming that this is an ini issue and not, say, a graphics card issue, are there any specific settings you would suggest I play with first? Decals for sure, and you mentioned distance, but any others you'd suggest might be more likely to affect this?

This is probably a newbie question, but what does "enb" stand for?

Thanks for your thoughts!

The puddle is a decal (and sometimes doesn't show because it appears below the terrain you're standing on if you're uneven ground). Enb mods are for custom lighting. I use vanilla lighting myself, so can't vouch for them, but they're very popular. I can't think of any game display settings that might affect the pee colour, sorry.

yeah the puddle really is hit or miss. a lot of times it will actually appear on the ground under the ground. you can see if it if you tcl through the ground. even if it is perfect flat, the puddle is hit or miss.

No worries, honestly I'm having a ridiculous amount of silly fun even without the puddle.  Amazing how much I am enjoying it.  And I like the fact that it's simple and to the point.  (Not playing the version with the guards that come after you, but the stable earlier version.)

Personally, what I would love to see would be more options or customization of when your character wets herself.  For example, it's possible to be attacked with lightning or electricity.  What about having a high risk of wetting yourself while you're being roasted with electricty?  Kind of like how in the old Postal 2 game NPCs would wet themselves if tased for a long time.

If NPC followers ever get bladders, what about if they could have a chance of peeing themselves when knocked down in combat?  Maybe NPCs under the "fear" condition would in general have a certain chance of peeing themselves as they flee?

I think I'm an imagination-based person and I have been enjoying the Apropos mod that basically adds text to narrate actions that are happening on the screen.  In addition to the screen turning yellow, would it be difficult to add some text to describe the situation in role playing terms?  If I wanted to edit the existing text in the mod (i.e. change "Name spilled some lemonade!" to a different line) would it be easy for me to do so?

Thanks for all the surprisingly fun times...!

Out of all the "realism" and immersion mods out there, this one is one of my faves, too. It's not something I would have thought I'd install, but since I did, it's such fun I don't want to play without it. It's simple in it's use and setup, makes my character seem more real, and some of the situations she gets into having to listen to her bladder are hilarious to watch. I won't even mention the D/s aspect of having to pee in front of Lydia... or I'll have to stop writing to go play the game again.

I like it, I like it a lot. However could a hotkey function be added to check bladder capacity, rather than going into the MCM? One other thing there was an animation in pee alive I think where you do a quick wipe and a flick of the wrist after squatting, is it possible to add other animations to your mod?

Well, I'm just about sold, but I got 2 questions: Does this have desperation animations? Like if you really need to go does your character start squirming and whatnot? Also, do I really need XPMSE? One of your requirements says you do, one says you don't. I already have XPMS installed and the E version requires more files I don't really want to add.
