End of an era :(

After ten epic years on the show, Kari, Tory, and Grant are leaving Mythbusters.  I don't know about you guys, but to me, they were the ones worth watching.  Grant and Tory made me crack up countless times, and I am a firm believer that every time Kari cocks a shotgun, a unicorn gets its horn.

Mythbusters has officially lost it's luster.  Adam and Jamie are awesome in their own right, but those three made the show complete.

I hear you. When I saw the announcement last night, I was in shock because they ARE the show.

 

Something is fundamentally wrong and they are amputating to save the patient. With that said I am not sure I want to watch the mutilated body of a show... They should try to keep the shows dignity intact IMO, if that means one less season then so be it. Many shows go one season to many!

Damn, did not expect that. I've not watched mythbusters in a while but I agree that Grant, Tory and Kari where the three worth watching.

Well, Kari was my main attraction to the show and since she has her own show now..

I guess I can do without. But it won't be the same without those three derping around.

I wonder Grant and Tory will do now?

Well Grant in his spare time plays Sulu in the Star Trek Fan film series Star Trek Continues .

 

Not a great actor of course, but decent. And yes Captain Kirk is play by Vic Mignogna and Spock is done by Todd Haberkorn, whether you like or dislike English Anime Voice Actors, they actually do pull of Kirk and Spock pretty well.

Meh, never much cared for those sideshows. They're not nearly as funny as they think they are. I liked the first season(s?) best, back when it was only Jamie and Adam, and when they had that folklorist lady talking about the origins of the myths. Now it's only movies and explosions :shrug:

Sad to see them leaving the show because they were fun but I agree with this. I actually haven't watched the show in ages simply because Jamie and Adam were appearing less and less, just giving the other three 'assignments'. I wonder if they'll be featured more or if they'll just get replacements for the three who are leaving.

A shame they are leaving. They were entertaining to watch. Jamie and Adam are still my favourites from the show, but it will still be not the same. Haven't watched a great deal of Mythbusters in a while...
