Trouble with noise, first post here btw

HiHi!

I am kind of a tOtAl NoObie when it comes to running and installing mods, but I've been with this genre since I had to go to Pelegiad to buy sexy armor from Bob (although it has moved occasionally), and cello taught me the importance of the rose of passion, so I can maneuver my way around my data folder, but that's about it.  I activate mods using Wrye Bash (and I use Wrye Bash to check for conflicts and save status - its also handy for importing faces) and I use OBMM 2.0 for activating omods if I don't want to install manually... which I usually do anyway because I don't know how to script omods and I don't trust that anyone else does either.

You people do a great job working on and discussing all these mods, and I dip here often to get words of wisdom, fix-its, know-hows, and practical experiences, so please keep up the dialogue!

So to my point!

I really have all my issues sorted out, and things run great, with one exception;  When I run CreatureSexualOrgans mudcrabs and imps become significantly larger (I think I've read about this before, but I don't know how to fix it).

Big imps just look silly, and while I don't mind the mudcrabs being big, the extra leg messes up my sound.  A little history; I have chronically had sound issues, I have a great system but my sound card is the weak point.  To compensate for this I run drum_fix mod and quiet_feet mod.  But in order for the quiet_feet mod to have any impact I must load it after CreatureSexualOrgans.  Of course doing that, destroys the mudcrabs and imps and they go back to being normal size (and my performance goes back to high fps again).  For the record, and observation sake, it does seem that other creatures are not affected by the quiet_feet, and I suspect this has something to do with whether or not their new organ is using a leg slot.

I love StupidNPC's!  But I'm afraid that I may have to uninstall it because the mudcrab spawns aren't as much fun without the extra leg....  :'( 

Here's a thought! Can I change the mudcrab spawns in the ini?!?

Okay, I have some other questions, if anyone feels like answering them;  a) I don't need to run LBN2 to get Tamago to work right? Because they're totally seperate right?

B) Should I run TrueCrime and TrueCrimeEx or when they put a little Ex on the end of an esp does that mean its an expanded replacer and I should not use the original?  Cuz it doesn't say that in the instructions.

c) Okay, I know these are silly questions, but the next one is; Where do I put the ini for BreakUndies, in the ini folder or the data folder?  I have Kirin Armor BU but I've never seen it break!  So I don't know if I'm doing it right.

d) Nope, that's it I guess.

Okay me and the fam are going camping this weekend so I won't be back until Tuesday  :P

I'll gladly answer the minor ones (the major one, I can't help with, other than suggesting you open up the CS, and manually give all creatures their 'tools' back).

a) LoversBorn (or LoversBorn2) should NEVER be used in conjunction with tamagoClub and HyokoClub (for actually having a child you absolutely DO need Hyoko, as well as Tamago. Tamago handles the menstrual cycle, Hyoko handles the generation of children.)

B) if the Ex-version does not have a dependency on the non-Ex version, you should not run the non-Ex version. (you can check with Wyre-bash, I assume you're aware of this?)

If the mod does have this dependency, you should load them both, Ex being last.

c) The .ini goes into the INI-folder. Also, what I usually do if I'm not too sure about where the .ini is supposed to go, I usually place it in both places. Most are only a few kB, which is (usually) only a small fraction of the available disk-space.

d) Okay then.  :P

Not 100% sure how to do that, I think that would require me understanding toolset better, and everytime I've tried to use it I just mess things up.  What direction do I go to make that work?

I know Wrye has told me before with a big red check mark that a plugin will not work because it is missing something, and in the upper right hand corner it usually tells me the plugin I need ... but I was not aware that it would always tell me that ... so since I have loaded TrueCrimeEx and Wrye didn't tell me with a big red check that it didn't work, I should not load TrueCrime I take it. I feel so empowered!

Not 100% sure how to do that, I think that would require me understanding toolset better, and everytime I've tried to use it I just mess things up.  What direction do I go to make that work?

It's really simple, actually, although time-consuming. (I know, coz. I recently changed an entire village to tabaxi... Twice... The first time, something went wrong)

What you do, is open the creature-list, and select the creature you want edited. Then, you should see a set of tabs on the new window. One of them should be models or modellist or something. You might have to browse through the tabs, though as not all are immediately visible.

In this tab, you should find a list of .nifs some checked, some not. What you're looking for is the one that says something like armor. If you open up the full preview (with the button at the bottom of the window), you can see the effect. If it's not something like I said, just check a .nif, and see if it's the one you need. If it is, good for you, if not, you uncheck it again.

looks like it, but I would suggest placing TamagoClubIcons as the last tamago/hyoko plugin, otherwise having it in your order is useless  :P

By the way, which TamagoClub did you download? The version I have uploaded here has some bugs squashed (newer version), same goes for the extended pregnancy version of TamagoClubIcons.

Yes, that's one way to check it, you can also see it in the box on the right, when you're in the "mods" tab. there, you can even change dependencies, if you have renamed a master file, for some reason.

Okies, well my original post claiming complete compatibility in my mod list was in error, and I really should have play tested the above posted combination more before making such a bold statement.

I have just reintalled my game, and since i was only level 6, I tink tink I'm gonna jus' start overs!!! (with a slightly scaled back mod selection) ... Just can't get ClothingMatters, Friends and Lovers, and Tona's Mod Store to synch (at least I think those are the problems), my HUDS keep crashing my game, Aphrodesia went tits up (which I don't even like Aphrodesia so I dunno why I had it in there in the first place), and SpermSplash won't work with my Tamago for some reason either, and soooo I'm doing a bunch of testing atm instead of actually playing.  BUT, once I get that figured out, I promise to explore your instructions above with all vigor!

looks like it, but I would suggest placing TamagoClubIcons as the last tamago/hyoko plugin, otherwise having it in your order is useless  :P

Which I interpreted Tamago HUD as a "Tamago Addon Mods" since I didn't see it anywhere else on the list.  Generally speaking, this has been the most stable load order for LoversPK I have found anywhere.  Although i did notice someone posted a LoversStupidNPC update today, so I'll hafta go check it out.  I love those stupid NPCs!

After some backtracking I discovered this is the Tamago I am using http://www.loverslab.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=64; which (after a little more investigating) turns out to be the same one you are.

WAY!  Thanks again Hitman69!  Have fun with the Tabaxi... Oh hey that reminds me' date=' since you are so Tab oriented.  I was able to add x117 to the PCSoundInnocent mod so my character would talk, and that's really the first time I ever did anything that complex on my intuition, but I still can't get any of the NPC Tabaxies in my world to have any voice whatsoever... would you have any recommendations to help me with that?[/color']
