Issues with downloading any files.

Hi! So, recently I had an issue with a mod from Nexus that wound up forcing me to have to delete all of my mods on Skyrim and completely uninstall and reinstall the game. I had sexlab downloaded, and it worked perfectly, from the download itself to using it in game. But when I went to re-download it from this site, I click download, wait the 30 seconds for the file, and as soon as the 30 seconds are up, the site logs me out and tells me that I either don't have permission to download it and have to log in, or it says I have to wait 120 seconds to download it. After the 120 seconds are up the whole thing just repeats itself until I get a page telling me I've exceeded my allowed downloads for the day. I tried to download other mods to see what would happen and the same thing happened. I'm using google chrome, tried using firefox and with firefox the file would never even start to download. What should I do? Thank you!!

 

 

UPDATE Okay now it only makes me wait 20 seconds for the file download to start, but instead of downloading the file it takes me to a page with a script or a random screenshot. Maybe my computer is haunted.

Bug report on the Nexus? Sometime the Nexus does dumb stuff, and the Nexus needs to know it.

Nexus does do dumb stuff! But this is with Loverslab. Nexus is downloading everything fine, not a single issue except for the one mod that made me have to delete everything and start fresh. My problem now is just with downloading anything from Loverslab.

Other people are also having problems downloading some mods off here. I've had a few PMs about it.

I'm glad it's not just me. I just restarted my computer (now I'm determined) and I'll try again, I'll post if it works!

Well, for some reason restarting my computer worked! It's downloading very slowly now and I don't want to jinx it but I'm sure it'll finish, I've never had an issue with this site before. Maybe restarting the computer was effective because I hadn't turned it off since I went through the whole.. vanillifying my skyrim process today. Not sure how that would matter, but if anyone else has the same issues as me hopefully restarting your computer will work for you too:)

no, me to. and after a half hour the download is abordet. will try restart now maybe it helps.

 

edit: same again, tryed to download sos. but hey that can wait.
