DMC Stylish - Can't attack after removing mod.

Hey guys I have problem with DMC Stylish animations, I was using it for quite a while but I need to get rid of it for testing CLS Part 3.

Everything was looking ok untill I tried to attack mob... Every melee and range weapon don't work anymore when I take out sword it just dissapear, while trying to attack nothing happends.

Any tips how to fix it ?

DMC requires a specific procedure to get it to work. Did you make sure you removed any trace of it when you uninstalled ?? No trace must be left behind. It's been while since i last played this mod. but removing should not be any problem.

If all else fails try and see if you can find dmc thread on nexus or fileplanet, or where you got it, there are always handy tips on removing this mod.

For now Nexus is down.

Installing DMC is working great when installed but after un-installing the mod I can't attack anything.

I think it maybe something connected with Kf files missing after removing mod.

These types of mods is best used with OMOD version, or you will have to manually delete allot of files. Make sure to check rar structure and delete files in your oblivion\data\meshes\Characters\_male accordingly. Other then that, there is no other way. What you could try, is install the omod version then use deactivate, and hoping it deletes all of it's traces.

Also use archive invalidation , to validate your new structure within oblivion. That way, it sets all to normal.

I have OMOD version > Deactived > Cleaned Files > Used Invalidation and still nothing character can't attack.

Really get's annoying. Gonna write post on Nexus when it comes back

I had trouble with this before too. I managed to get things working again only by deleting the _male folder, I made backups of the files I knew were safe and let the rest go.

After that I used obmm to extract oblivions meshes to my desktop and I used those to rebuild.

DMC stylist only replace your mesh, there is no esp(unless you use pc only), so when you uninstall it only remove mesh.

solution is simple. if you have another animation mod, just put it, or simple deactivate HGEC body BBB and activate it again. this HGEC body BBB will rewrite almost any animation
