Starting last night I am getting a 503 error on google chrome when try to go on the loverslab site. It says

"503: service unavailable

Site is down temporarily for upgrade and maintenance. Will be back up as soon as possible."

But it works fine on internet explorer, any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

I also got this error. Didn't check if it worked on other browsers though.

Just do a page refresh, it should then load the actual page.

Happened to me too.  Page refresh didn't help at all.   :(

Shift-Refresh.

Shift-Refresh.

I know that.  Tried it.  Didn't work.

I can't get into LL from chrome, IE or firefox right now.

However, if I go through a hidemyass proxy the page loads up fine.

Giving a 503 about updates and stuff, right?

Yuppers. " 503: Service Unavailable Site is down temporarily for upgrades and mainteance. Will be back up soon as possible. "

Now its working for me.... :D

I got it again. Using the Hola plugin for Chrome to switch to USA instead of UK. Works now. It's weird.

Strange, I'me getting that too but if I use my mobile then it works. Glad to see it's not just me. I thought there was mass IP block or something.

EDIT: Can a moderator confirm this? I use adblock during the day when my kids are up. Is that causing the error?

EDIT EDIT: Somehow, I can connect but it's sporadic. I was starting to think my ISP was blocking it, but maybe there was some issue down the line. I used the tracert command and the hops timed out at first but after a few times, they started getting some very odd addresses. A re-route maybe?

It doesn't seem to affect anything for me whether I have ad-block turned on or not.

I did try that hola plug-in for chrome, and changed it a US server instead of Canada and that seems to work about as good as using a proxy.

503's if I try to check a quote with hola, but the notifier doesn't even work with a proxy.

IP addresses being blocked outside of the US maybe?

I live in the US.  Sometimes I get the error on my cell, but it only lasts about an hour when it happens.  This one was from at least 7 AM to 11:30 AM PDT

well look like somebody was try to steal Ashals nude pictures

:P  :D

and yes i was have that problem too early this morning (CET)

Sounds like an issue with DNS resolution, I know that some of the major DNS providers were having problems, and Cloudflare recently changed the way they handle security keys, so maybe...

US resident as well, getting the same error with chrome. Refuse to use Internet Exploder.

Can we get a fix for this?

already reset the browser settings, tried removing the extensions. so on so forth.

You want a fix, try contacting your DNS service provider? Good luck getting a response!  :D

Anyone know a free proxy service? The issue is definitely with my my ISP or something related. If I use my mobile data plan, then I'm fine.

Try searching "Hola Better Internet" on the chrome app page duey thing there that does that stuff.

it's free and worked for me.

-or-

https://www.hidemyass.com/proxy

Once on the page scroll allllllllll the way to the bottom, there is a little bar you can enter the url into, and you're all set.  The proxy browsing whatever is free, but their vpn stuff costs money, so ignore the pretty much full page add (hence all the scrolling down).

I was getting this all yesterday with firefox from Australia. I could log in ok, but any link gave a 503 error. Seems to be working fine now.

Last night was getting the error, tried a few proxy none of them worked, reset router, didn't work.

Earlier today, tried a few proxy, some worked some didn't, reset router, and here I am

All with Chrome

  • Open a windows command prompt and enter ipconfig /flushdns
  • Open the address chrome://net-internals/#dns in Chrome and click "Clear Host Cache"
  • Completely exit out of Chrome by selecting Exit from the mini Chrome icon in the bottom right of the start bar
  • Start Chrome backup and try and access the site
  • If still getting 503 than shutdown your computer, wait a couple seconds, and start it up again, run ipconfig /flushdns and clear host cache again after booting back up, try and access the site again.

I used /flushdns and I still got the error, tried restarting the PC, and was still getting it. Then the problem just stopped a few hours later. Really wierd.

old GOOgle firefox IE bing... work OK

I was hoping you could help me with this issue I'm having:

I'm trying to use a management program but I can't get it to work with this site. I keep putting the download link into the field but it doesn't work. Just keeps opening a window. So I tried to paste the file into a folder instead. Still nothing. I tried to save the file directly to my computer but all I got was an .html file. I'm at my wits end here. Could anyone tell me how I can download SexLab for Fallout by using Task Manager?
