Game very unstable with certain custom race

I'm using (or trying to use) a certain custom race... it's here:

Yeah...

Anyway, when using this race specifically, the game is very unstable, and seems to crash all the time. There's even parts that I can't actually get past because of this. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get much help from anyone in that thread.

Anyone know why this keeps happening?
