Advice on Upgrading

Hey guys I currently own an Alienware M17x laptop and i've had it for over a year. It's still pretty good but I would like to update it as I don't have enough space for all the stuff I'd like (14.8g free out of 219) and I'd like to also upgrade it to increase performance to handle higher detailed games. I probably should contact alienware and ask how but I feel like they may deceive me and try to enthrall me into getting something. So, should I buy things to upgrade my computer or should I save up money for a better laptop or (more likely) a new desktop?

A laptop isn't upgradeable unless you count the HDD and RAM to be upgradeable. I'd save your money and just buy a better laptop or better still, buy a desktop unless space is an absolute minimum/you're on the travel a lot?

Yeah, i've been thinking about getting a desktop for a while now (space, portability is not a problem). Thanks for the advice, I'll look into it.

And a desktop can be easily upgraded later too HaloReachMan123.
