Advanced DMRA Help

Just want to say thank you to all the modders out there for all their work and help so far. I am not new to modding but new to this game so through a lot of reading I have learned all I needed to enjoy this game. I have recently decided to move from my current bodies to all DMRA. I had a few slight kinks but got everything working except for one small thing. My sexy all female guards in every city are naked, somehow within modding I have lost the DMRA clothes.

I am not only using DMRA but also using BBB clothes as well. Everything is working except for the missing guard clothes. I have done a clean install multiple times and I have yet to understand what the issue is. If anyone is familiar with this any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Bluesun23,

Go and grab this tool: (tes4edit) http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11536

Use version 3.0.15 experimental.

Once you have installed it in: oblivion\data (ya it really goes in the data file and not in the main oblivion folder) then run it and go into your DMRA esp files and look for a guard who is naked in your game. This tool will show you every esp/esm that effects that guard and remember the rule of oblivion mods....the last one wins in any conflict. This will allow you to track down the source of your naked woes and you can then either fix it or inform us what you found and we can guide you further.

Ah, excellent! Thank you very much! I remember seeing the tes4edit before over translations I think but didn't look to see what all this does. Perhaps I should have!

Update:

Well unfortunately the only thing I have seen with the program was a conflict with the "knights.esp" file, but I changed to another version of it that wasn't conflicted and even disabled it but found no change. I have however noticed that it is not actually all guards. I am new to oblivion and only have a few towns that I have been to but imperial city and chorrol are both clothed. It seems to be only Skingrad.

Using Tes4Edit is a good start.

Go to one of the affected Skingrad NPC records and check the items.

There should be something ending with "Cuirass" and "Greaves".

Behind the name is a 32-bit hexadecimal number. (looks like "0001DC4B").

Type that number into the "FormID" field in the top left corner and press Enter.

It should take you to the record for that item.

Now check again what MODs define or modify it. Last one wins.

The "Model File Name" under "Female biped model" is important.

It specifies the path to the mesh.

Once you have the path go to your Oblivion data folder and make sure it exists.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. I saw no conflicts and when it came to the mod last that won, well there was only 2-3 DMRA mods and I tried turning them all off and everything.

All be damned, if I have them perform a sex act with anyone, they dress afterwards! Haha well now I can fix it, and it will be a busy night in Skingrad...

One thing to remember if you have colourwheels overhaul installed is that offduty guards will wear clothes or go naked. On duty they will (should) wear armor.
