Lovers Slave Trader: Collecting Mass Slaves

I'm still new to the game, so if this thread is out of line or redundant, feel free to delete it. I HAVE read the other Lovers Slave Trader threads, but they were not aimed specifically at gathering massive amounts of slaves (without screwing up the game...)

So...

TL;DR follows...

I love this mod, and -before installing it - I read here that its a bad idea to enslave random NPCs (Bandits, Marauders, etc.) With that in mind I downloaded a LOT of mods that add NPCs to my game, so I could entrap them and create the slaves I needed to fulfill my quests (and perverted desires...).

Alas, I couldn't bring myself to enslave these NPCs. With the amazing mods I downloaded, these digital people all seemed to have lives I didn't want to destroy. What I REALLY wanted was to see nameless bandits and marauder ringleaders beng abused by creatures and NPCs. The people that brought ME harm needed to pay.

So, I accumulated a huge army of nameless slaves. Worked great for awhile, then my game died. I had to reinstall. Clean saving wasn't an option - the game would crash when I tried to save.

I WILL NOT guarantee this will not bork up your game. Its worked fine for me after about 100 hours of slave collecting. I could not bring myself to enslave ANY named NPCs beyond the homeless. Yet, I wanted a stable game.

1) Download and install this mod: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14176 (I HOPE Nexus links are OK here. I've seen lots of them...)

2) KILL that annoying Bandit, etc.

3) Select the Store Duplicate spell (you can store up to five dupes), cast it on the dead bandit (or whatever); then go somewhere else and create your duplicates. They'll happily follow you anywhere after you make them.

4) Have your duplicates drink the Hypno potion, or just smack 'em with the Skooma fork.

5) When they lie down for a nap, use Enslave on them. After that I like to rename them using the console command SetActorFullName "Slave Name Whatever" - but I don't know if that makes a difference.

With this method the slaves have the slave irons on and - SO FAR (about 100 hours in) - seem to be working perfectly. It may look like a lot of steps, but its quicker than re-installing. :(

With that spell, you can duplicate any NPC or yourself. Then decide whether you want a slave or a companion. I made myself a nasty Skooma addicted twin sister - but that's another thread...

If anyone else has any slave collecting tips, I'd love to read them.

Just a little note' date=' that mod is probably not necessary, there is a console command that already fulfils that purpose, "createfullactorcopy".

Not the same thing at all. Why did you even post this? Not the same thing, not even close.

I MADE duplicates of bandits with the console. The game eventually went to hell. This mod lets you copy ANY NPC (up to five), store them in your pocket, and make unique reproductions at your leisure.

Considering how many people are asking about enslaving bandits and marauders, maybe they should use a better tool than the console command you mention - and that they've probably already tried.

The console command isn't even necessary - I can kill a generic mob and use the "Reanimate" spell to enslave it. Neither of those options work very well for creating a massive slave farm. Your game WILL crap out duplicating mass mobs with the console command or the spells included with LST.

This mod creates unique NPC's that look just like whatever you killed (you don't even have to kill them, actually), but it turns them from generic respawns into unique entities. You can store five different images and recreate them as unique entities later. You can enslave them, or use them as companions.

I knew I shouldn't have posted this and wasted my time. If you want to make slaves out of bandits - grab that mod. Do NOT use the console command or the Lover's Slave Trader "enslave" or "resurrect" spells to create slaves out of nameless mobs.

Relax, this is definitely no waste of time. I feel the same about all those NPCs with a "personality" so I find your little tutorial extremely useful. Thank you!

If anyone else has any slave collecting tips, I'd love to read them.

First, thanks for this and not a waste of time, at all.

I started with capturing Necromancers and Mythic Dawn Agents. After killing them I use the console commands resurrect 1 and moddisposition 50, to make them 'friendly' to my PC, potion them and enslave spell 'em. I did the same with a few Bandits with no issues so far, but I left them were I found them with the 'stay or wait here' command.

So far it's been working okay, no CTDs yet, although I have had some save games get very laggy, but that may be other mods and not due to slave collecting; I'm constantly trying new mods every day.

I too added more NPCs via mods for specifically that, but have yet to enslave any like you and the other poster here, for about the same reasons. This mod you pointed out, looks like it will be useful for this.

One tip, take care which NPCs you enslave and jail together. Don't mix NPC criminal types with guards. I had one killed in jail for stealing by a guard slave, so I had to separate them. For now I'll just collect 'bad' NPCs and later work on a few 'good' ones from in-game, that I want to 'punish', lol.

Jesus Christ on a pogo-stick, I post a simple message trying to be helpful, and you went out on me like you were trying to snap my neck. Okay, so I was wrong, my apologies, but damn it, no need to get so aggressive.

@pepecristo - I interpreted your reply post as trying to be helpful, nothing less. Besides based on reading many posts here over the past few months, it is IMO good to point out the console commands every now and then.

@garcemac

or just smack 'em with the Skooma fork

I also prefer the club over the fork. You can get some fairly amazing ragdoll animations using it, lol. Now that could be due to my very high STR, or some other attribute, don't rightly know, but I've knocked some clear across a room or way up into the air, without killing them. The resulting positions they end up in is also more 'entertaining' than the knockout potions, but I do use those a lot too.

I apologize for my foul mood and subsequent reply, but I disagree with the console command being a reliable method to use when you need to create a large number of slaves to fulfill the LST requirements.

Your reply was misleading - and could contribute to corrupt save games. My response was out of line.

For that, I sincerely aplogize.

But when you've got 200+ slaves, neither the console command nor the reanimate (or is it ressurect?) spell are going to do your game any favours.

Unfortunately correct that either way you go (via console or the actor copy via the mod garcemac found) as you up the number of slaves the chances of save game bloating and thus eventually save game corruption will increase.

It might be better to grab a mod that adds non respawning npc's to avoid this.

Failing finding one of those grab an existing mod like from2chlives which adds around 300 some odd npc's to the game world and edit the mod to make sure all of them are set to NOT respawn. Even this can still bloat up your save game but it would be far safer than the console command, if you are talking more than a few as the console command is known to quickly bork up a game.

Either way best of luck with this and while I am not into slaving myself I may use this to set up a slaver camp that I could wipe out and "save" the fair maiden slaves in the camp! After banging the hell out of them for my reward of course :)

Good find and great instructions Garcemac in your OP!
