Easiest method for having unique body types for each race?

Given the variety of bodies I've seen in people's games, I'm positive that this concept is possible and totally doable. However, I have no idea how to approach it myself. Has anybody released a mod to allow you to do this easily? If it helps, I'll tell you what I'd like each race to look like. I'm assuming it would be easiest to have them all use one compatible texture map (I would pick UNP and SoS), but I'm also hoping that you could have them using more or less muscular maps on the textures as well.


 


Argonians - Average mesh for male, no or small-breasted mesh for female. Males have unique penis.


 


Bretons - Average or thin mesh for males and females. Smooth textures with no muscular features. Light body hair.


 


Dark Elves - Average mesh for males and females. Textures can have average muscle features for both. No body hair.


 


High Elves - Average mesh for males and females. Smooth textures with no muscular features. No body hair.


 


Imperials - Average mesh for males and females. Textures can have average muscle features for both. Average body hair.


 


Khajiit - Average or thin mesh for males and females. Multiple nipple texture for female. Males have unique penis.


 


Nords - Average or bulky mesh for males and females. Textures can have very muscular features for both. Dense body hair.


 


Orcs - Average or bulky mesh for males and females. Textures can have very muscular features for both. No body hair.


 


Redguard - Average mesh for males and females. Textures can have average muscle features for both. Average body hair.


 


Wood Elves - Average or thin mesh for males and females. Smooth textures with no muscular features. No body hair.


 


Basically, I like the idea of Nords and Orcs have a stonger looking build and have each race have the appropriate amount of body hair and muscles. Obviously this is for NPCs as well as the player so that there's a good amount of variety into the bodies you run into while exploring and such. I've seen heavy-set bodies being made as well, but I'm not sure how you could apply those to show up randomly on NPCs. But if there's a way to do that as well, I would say that Humans, Khajiit, and Orcs should be able to have heavy bodies, whereas the other races would be exempt.


 


Thanks for any help you can offer. I'm really looking forward to hearing how to make this happen.

Unless you want everyone to be naked all the time, you'd have to install modified armors for each race as well. Otherwise you'll see no difference on clothed characters, even if they only wear a microbikini.

So you're looking at 10x the amount of textures, and 10x the amount of armor meshes.

First off you might want to track Bodytypes of Skyrim for the next update with an armor changer, because it will do exactly what you ask for. Until then, naked bodies and textures only. This is definitely an excellent mod, because it supports all bodytypes and textures (and i mean ALL bodies including any custom bodies you install as plug-in for the mod).

So switching a single NPC or entire race from UNP skinny to CHSBHC V3-T works flawless with it, as long as your PC can handle all those textures and meshes simultaneously.

A compromise would be to use a body with a very wide range, made with Bodyslide CBBE HDT or Unified UNP.

Then use the "Basvanbeu MuscleTextureChanger with Navetsea set.esp" from Navetsea's Textures and customize this with your own textures.

An example how this can be set up:

00-20 weight: skinny/loli normalmap, shaved textures

21-40 weight: skinny normals, hairy

41-60 weight: regular normals, very hairy + moles

61-80 weight: fitness normals, landing strip

81-100 weight: muscular normals, shaved, scars

That is assuming you can find a texture with that many options, because the mod can only change the femalebody_dds and femalebody_msn.dds (not hands or head). Elven races are excluded from the additional texture sets, and always use the first set. Elf NPCs tend to be at the lower end of the weight slider, so this works quite well.

I've been using this myself with Navetsea's textures as well as SG, Mature Skin, and some others. Even with many more weight increments for a total of 10-11 texture sets. Just remember that you can only pick 1 of those textures, and there may be some glitches in case the muscular or skinny normals are not 100% compatible.

Schlongs of skyrim (commonly known as SOS) alows you to set schlong differeances between races.

SAM offers custom settings per race in the MCM menu.


You can preset how much Samson, or Samuel are added to each race, and further by what type of character they are (fighter, rich, poor, old, there are a couple of settings in the MCM menu for SAM). The size of the schlong, and if they have a foreskin or not is in there as well.


 


 


 


For Females. I'm hoping someone will build an esp that would allow you to set them by a Racemenu morph setting (per race) and then use either the CBBE Racemenu or UUNP Racemenu sets (depending on which female body type you use) for the body and armors and have it morph each female per race and weight. This would require you to generate each armor in bodyslide with the racemenu tri files...


 


But that may be a cpu / paprus script hog... so yeah, it is still a dream though.


 


Note: Sam has 3 schlongs by default, but they are all the same shape/design.


They are malegenitals_0.nif / _1.nif, malegenitalsargonian_0.nif /_1.nif, and malegenitalskhajiit_0.nif / _1.nif.


There is an extra mesh inside the nif that makes the cock look like its got a foreskin, and probably in the *.tri file for the genitals is something similar to a zap slider to remove that piece from the nif when the check box is unchecked in the MCM.... B3lizario would be able to explain how that works in a better way (as I'm just guessing how the tri file and mcm make it disappear when that option is unchecked).


 


Me, I would actually like to have "Eternal Black's" Cocks as a choice for the Khajit and Argonian races (hell I wouldn't mind EB's Male Argonian body to be turned into a Samson, and Samuel shape as well then used in SAM for the Argonians, cause the design is pretty damn cool and high enough poly count wise).


 


 


So recap...


SOS is good (but you are limited to the shape of the males with the 0 and 1 nifs only).


SAM gives a wider range for the male character types with a per race configuration as well as npc type configuration (and can be configured in the mcm after install). There is also a non skimpy armor set for SAM over on the site that hosts SAM.

Eternal Black did a really nice body and genital setup for the Animal races. But it doesn't support SAM or SOS's limp/erect settings or cock scaling via bone nodes (still it is a very nice mesh/texture set damn shame it is not part of SAM).


 


 


Then there are the old ones. Favorsoul's and Sundracon's Males body meshes (and I'm not sure what is or isn't based on what any more).
