Low fps for no reason [Solved]

Hi everybody,


 


I'm having an issue with my modded Skyrim (230 plugins), yesterday I had an issue with Dual Sheath Redux with having a sword on my back while I asked the mod to let the weapons stay on the hips.


During that time, I haven't added any mods or anything new, my game ran perfectly and smoothly. The only issue I had was the wagons at the intro scene, so I downloaded a vanilla save that brings me directly to the character creation at Helgen to skip the flying horses and stuff.


 


All I did today to fix my DSR issue was : download & reinstall the XPM skeleton, reinstall & repatch Dual Sheath Redux.


 


Now my game has some crazy low FPS for no reason, it's not as fluid as yesterday and I have really no idea why, I cleaned my plugins to see if it could help but it didn't... Could someone help me? I'm trying to play Skyrim for days but when you fix a mod something else always break it's very frustrating...

Have you cleaned your mods with TES5EDIT? DLC's and mods with dirty edits can cause problems with a game. Have you looked at your papyrus log to see what is all going on in your game? A lot of script heavy mods can cause lag.

He linked his mod list from LOOT and there is no dirty edits in it. Can you read the all message before posting?

 

On topic. Do you use HDT? If so, check you hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml and if you have in there "NPC Belly" rename it to "HDT Belly". May be this is the problem after updating the skeleton.

Yes cleaned everything with TES5EDIT, didn't know about Papyrus, I tried to add stuff in the Skyrim.ini file or downloading a .jar file on the nexus but it's not clear on how it works. I have no logs on the scripts.


 


I do have HDT indeed, I tried to look for NPC Belly or HDT Belly but couldn't find anything on it with CTRL+F.


 


Edit: I reinstalled HDT and now my game runs smoothly, can't believe it was that, I didn't touched it last time lol.. Thanks Morra !
