Help with body replacers

I'd really like to use TGND.

After another manual install failure where the body was on the legs for some reason...

I looked around here and found the set body spell which seemed to be the solution to my problem however the result was further failure...

What's the problem and how do I fix it?

Use this Skeleton, it is Growlfs and it works with everything.

That didn't work. It didn't ask for an override when I installed it though.

So I checked and they were in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\oblivion\Data\Meshes\Characters\_male

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\oblivion\Data\Meshes\_male

I tried copying it to the other folder so they were the same and also removing each, finally removing both but it didn't change anything.  ???

The underwear problem stem from archiveInvalidation or redirection if you have OBMM. The boobs stretching to infinity is a skeleton problem. You need to replace ALL instances of the skeleton (even reflex mods as I found out) in the meshes folder. So search out the skeleton and replace all of them.

Well that'd be what caused it then. I recently used the redirection thing. Replacing them all didn't work though.

As I have seen this on my end many times before not using your current body replacement.... but a diff one i would say reinstall http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30914 and update as per the read me file sould solve your challenge ALSO  togle archiveInvalidation from your oblivion mod manager...

That didn't solve it. I deleted everything for a clean install, only mods were the skeleton and the BBB Designer body spell with OBSE and OBMM of course. I did nothing with settings or archiveinvalidation or redirection. It STILL happens.  :-\ The only thing that does work is the HGEC OMOD.

Yes I am using it. No I don't know how to toggle it. I can get the menu up but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it.

I tried this mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10724 but that didn't fix it either.

Well I guess that's useless now anyway. I looked up more about it,I'm using the Steam version so should I reset the timestamps? I think that's the problem,I just want to make sure. It also said something about checking off the Meshes box in OBMM.

While I'm asking questions why would this cause specifically the body mods to not work? All the hair, races, outfits etc. work.

Why does the HGEC OMOD work when nothing else does?

Well it solved that problem and the spell works now,so do the manually installed body types. However it seems there's still something missing. The textures won't take. I checked off textures and meshes under the alteration in OMOD. Did I miss something else?

I guess no one know what I'm talking about.

The meshes and spell work but textures don't.  :-\

I figured out it's something to do with races and them not having textures. It's ok then since that wasn't what I planned on using and was only a test character. Though knowing what to do would still be nice for future reference.
