Milk Mod Economy not registering in game & MCM

So I upgraded ths mod and now for what ever reason it no longer shows up on mcm or activates in game. I've tried to reintall with nmm, verify cache, making a clean save, and installing each file manually to make sure they all went to the right files.

 

I've tried to use 'ski_configmanagerinstance 1' several times on newest saves and old, but it never worked. When ever I did it always detected 41 mods and displayed the 41 on the mcm (MME is not one of them).

 

I've made sure the esp, the hearthfire patch, and the zaz patch are active. To test this I used 'help milk' to find that the items, spells, quest, etc. are in the game, but something is keeping the mod from starting up.

 

I'm at my wits end can anyone help?

Hey I know this was a few months late, but I was having this same problem and thought I might share a fix.

 

When you create your character, and put in the name, then hit 'finish', so it starts running initial scripts and messages start appearing in the upper left? (This is when you make your character or just install Milk Mod for the first time) DON'T INTERRUPT THE SCRIPTS. Don't open the console window (~ key) and don't open the MCM window (Esc key) until Milk Mod tells you that it has been installed. If you interrupt the scripts, Milk Mod will fail to install.

 

That was my problem. Hope this helps.

thanks for the heads up. I just deleted the charater. and started anew. I tested opening the quest on a new save first and found this only affected that once playthough.

i am also having a problem with the mcm not showing up but i did all the fixes shown here and in the mod's page.
