anyone understand gibbed tools or alternatives?

I am trying to learn how to mod watchdogs by ubisoft and understand the file formats.


 


I was trying to unpack textures and sound files but I cannot get gibbed tools to work right so I found another program  that unpacks the files into dds.


The problem is it cannot repack dds textures back into xbt.


 


My gibbed tools program hangs when I click the "xbt to dds"  button and I think it stops responding because I waited more than 15 minutes. When I try "xbt to dds" nothing happens.


 


Anyone knows why the gibbed tools does this or know a better program to unpack and repack this games files?
