Will my GPU be enough for GTA V?

Hi,

I am currently using the Geforce Gigabyte GTX 780 TI Windforce GHz OC. It has base / boost of 1085/1150 3gb of memory at 7khz. It is capable of running Homeworld Remastered  at 4K max without issue which has the second highest graphics of any game i have played (first being my skyrim), having textures up there at 8k. Do you think it will be enough to play GTA V at 4k max? I am looking to upgrade it to the 980 TI as with 12gb GPU's around my measly little 3gb is on its last legs. Its keeping me from running my skyrim, (which i would wager will require no less then 8GB) but the only thing that the 980 TI currently has going for it is rampant speculation which places it in 2016. GTA V will be here in about 2 weeks, so that's not an option. I suppose that means that if it cant there's not a great deal i can do about it, i guess im just needing a second opinion. It has handeled Homeworld, Ryse, Shadows of Mordor (it struggled a bit there i'll admit but i'd imagine GTAV will be a bit more optimized), my guess would be that it will run it but i wont expect more then 24 fps, which is fine for me. I would rather have 2x image quality then 2x framerate.

Thoughts, will my card be up to the task?

Hell, I'm running an EVGA GTX 650 Ti and there isn't a game out there I can't run damn near to the max that I have found yet.  I'm wondering if you may have some other bottlenecks like RAM, CPU\motherboard or hard disk room.

I'm running Windows 8.1 with an I7 930 processor (2.8GHz) and 12GB of RAM.

So you want us to speculate on the graphics performance of an unreleased game? Well, you certainly won't be getting a constant 60 FPS @ 4K ultra settings with that card, if that's what you're asking. :)

Heh, I know that much, all I'm wondering is will my gpu run it at 24 FPS. I don't suppose it would change anything, but if it can't then it could be over a year before there's a gpu other then the titan x that can.

At 4K DSR with AA, AF, etc all at max? As I said, my GPU runs all but my skyrim at an acceptable (to me) frame rate. I think my skyrim has a few too many 4/8k textures for 3gb vram. On that I get 10-20fps with massive stutter, even at 1080. At 3840 x 2160 the game just doesn't load!
