with my personal experience it doesnt matter at all, various peaple reported problems with AFT bu i think its their problem.

I personally use UFO , which i also like the most. You may choose yourself what you like though i would recommennd UFO to everybody.

I don't think any follower framework would have much issue with Sexlab framework in particular, but rather what other sexlab mods it might have issue with.

Both seems to work fine in general in my set up, but it seems like EFF have an issue with essential followers won't heal themselves from down state. I don't know if that is an EFF issue or death alternative.

The question is not realy if the follower mods are compatible with SexLab, as that won't be a problem from my experience (AFT & EFF, UFO a looong time ago), but rather what followers do you want to manage with the mod. Some followers are a bit picky on the mod you use, so better check out their mod page and then decide what follower mod to use.
