[Suggestion] Pregnacy bellies and normal bellies

Hello :)

I have recently started to use a mod I found on here called "BeingFemale", which includes stuff like menustration periods, pregnacy, and a few other things. To support that mod I made a pregnacy belly using the body builder. The issue is obviously that even people who are not pregnant are going to look like it, in case they weight more.

Would it be possible to make a system where "If the npc or player is pregnant, then use this body, and if not, use this other one instead" :)? I would love to see something like this, since pregnant bellies for non-pregnant characters break immersion a bit I would say :)

I was in doubt about where to post this btw, so if it is posted in the wrong section, feel free to move it! ^_^

If you use the right body and skeleton BF will do that automatically

Just create a regular Bodyslide preset to your liking (I recommend using one of the Unified UNP ones as the weight painting is quite good) and BeingFemale will scale the belly node automatically while pregnant.  You'll also need a proper skeleton, Groovtama's XPMSE being the best one.

@Nostalgia:

I am hoping for a system like that since Skyrim got its first pregnancy mod years ago...but since most people seem to be satisfied with node scaling (I still don`t know why -.-) this will stay a wish I guess.

The TamagoSetBody plugin from Oblivion was so incredibly right...this mod I definitely miss the most -.-

The problem with this method is, that some NPC's have a weight way bigger than 0, which would make all of them look pregnant. Plus, having played around with a more "chubby" CBBE preset of my own (With a weight of 100 being quite chubby obviously), it would interfear with that. I don't want npc's or the player to have a pregnacy belly if they are not pregnant, just because their weight is 100? :)

Someone mentioned using a skeleton which have a pregnacy node? Any existing ones, and if not, how would one alter a skeleton to have that node? Would I using that method, be able to have e.g. an npc with e.g. a weight of 100 and still have their belly grow in pregnacy? I am not all too familiar with how skeletons affects the bodies etc.

What Arethiel said to do does not rely on changing the weight, it uses skeleton changes to adjust the belly. Most skeletons from the last 6 months support it and just look for a body that has the pregnancy nodes (quite a few do). I doubt anyone has used weight scaling to do it for a while now.

People are satisfied with node scaling...because it works? Because its what we have? Because its way less of a hack solution than what was used in Oblivion?

I'm not sure what the problem with Node Scaling is, when its literally the perfect solution for this issue, short of recoding the entire game.

u not makingg the mesh rigth if when u go ingame they have the belly when they not preg.

when u adujsting sliders do not mess with the preg slider as if u change that u can make them permantly look preg.your mesh only has to be made with a hdt preset and the belly work with preg mod. dont mess with belly slider but for slightly adjusting the normal belly sliders.

@ Nephenee13  most dont know hdt is orginaly a japanese mod i think and should be grateful we can use it as most asians guard there mods as us westerners like to

1. pick at them about what its about.

2. steal most of the mod and post it trying to get credit for it.

3. we complain to much about how its not good enough even thou some asian mods are praticaly miricales imo.

The one I am using is called "XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended" - does that support the pregnacy node? It said a lot about "Breast" physics and such things, but I was not able to find anywhere it mentioned "pregnacy node" or "belly node"

Yes, as long as you use a properly weighted body mesh

Hmm, the belly did not seem to grow at all for me - not sure what is causing it tbh; I would asume it is the skeleton, but I would not know which other to use :/

Same problem will occur many time if your place body mesh in wrong folder if you also use custom race in your game, so please check your custom race'S body folder first before you use NMM or mo tO install body mod because those mod manager just install body mesh to vanilla folder not the custom race one.
