Half of Installed Mods not working

Ok so I am new to Oblivion and modding it, so I will try to explain my issue with the least amount of rambling as possible.

I did some research before going forth and installing mods, to see what was needed for my Oblivion. I started off installing Wrye Bash, OBMM, and Archive invalidation invalidated, because those seemed most important. I then decided to install the mods I wanted to start with first which are:

  • Animations replacer personal 3.0 (Mur_Zik BBB)
  • Apachi Wigs
  • Cool Sims Hair Pack
  • Custom Race FIx
  • HGEC E-cup Large Bottom
  • MBP1.4a+MBP++0.98a+x117++078+Aio
  • Moonshadow_Elves_1_1_OMOD-31288
  • RoseSims Hair
  • Skeletons
  • SleepyD Wigs
  • Stylish Jump BBB
  • Succubus Race
  • Vampire Race Reloaded
  • Diablo Elf pack

Mods such as the wig packs I know i wont be able to see until i leave the tutorial because there is a place to pick them up. But mods such as the HGEC E-cup and Large Bottom and RoseSims Hair I did not see(made a new character and saw that hairs are race locked i guess? Walking animations on new character didn't seem to be present.). My install through the Install Tool provided by the creator of High Rez Skin Textures for HGEC also wont show up, but I am guessing since the HGEC parts don't work, that mod will not show up either. I get a Program Compatibility Assistant dialogue after I apply my settings for the Install too also, for the Face and the body.

Side Note: When I was installing MBP1.4a+MBP++0.98a+x117++078+Aio, it had a black box, but I saw the warnings OBMM told me, and it only over wrote 1 esp that I can easily get back, if that information helps any. I also get an

Is there any way I can maybe go through OBMM logs or something to find out why these aren't showing up? All my OBMM boxes are blue so I have no clue as to the issues I am having. As far as the other installs go, any help would be appreciated, I honestly have no clue what I did wrong, followed all the instructions as best as I could. Sorry for the giant post as well.

Archive invalidation invalidated - is obsolete. It is the old standard prior to bsa redirection. Please uninstall that mod and use OBMM's bsa redirection instead. Link on instructions and further explanation: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Oblivion_Mods_FAQ#Archive_Invalidation

Using the correct invalidation will solve the majority of your problems.

On the custom race fix:

NOTE: Some options will not work at the 1st character gen screen. Don't panic. As you reach the sewer exit you have a second chance to change things and all options are then available...just another one of the many Oblivion quirks.

Do the above and report back if you still have issues. If you do then show us your actual load order (via obmm you hit import/export, then view load order and then copy it and paste it here).

Also what skeleton did you install?

ohh, for the animations you need coronerras full compatibility skelleton, and for the rest of the mods... did you have OBSE installed? just asking...because they kinda need it to run

Don't expect the hair packs to show up on custom races. The hairs need to be assigned to a race in the construction set to be useable, and obviously the pack creator could do this only for races that exist in the vanilla game. So unless the custom race is set to use those hairs (and the hair pack listed as requirement for the race) you'll have to add them in yourself.

Ok so reporting back I found several things:

  • I did not have OBSE Installed, now Installed
  • The hair issue I was told was based off the races (tyvm for the info)!
  • I uninstalled MBP1.4a+MBP++0.98a+x117++078+Aio because I felt those races were too many and not needed
  • Uninstalled Archive invalidation invalidated! with the same tool they gave to install with.
  • Uninstalled High Rez Skin Textures for HGEC to test if other things would work (this mod just doesn't want to work)

The skeleton I installed was the Coronerras Maximum Compatibility Skeletons.I also used an OMOD, Better Bodies Compilation by Catseye528 on texnexus since every time I would try to install a HGEC body myself, it just wouldn't work. I finally got bodies to show up using this, but I still cant seem to get the High Rez Skin Textures for HGEC to work.

So I have my bodies issues fixed, I just kind of need help with getting the high rez body textures to work. if anyone has a suggestion or can point me in the direction for where I can get high rez or better skin textures for making Oblivion characters and better skin textures for NPCs, would be very much so appreciated. Even a character save file with a lovely looking character with nice textures would do.

Also gregathit, I would do the import/export thing, but I don't think the High Rez texture pack has an esp, so since I uninstalled it and don't remember seeing 1, wouldn't be needed to post it at this time right or do you still need me to post it?

If your issue is only the skin textures no, we don't need to see your load order. If you do a search on the nexus you can find quite a few texture packs especially if you are using HGEC.

For the High Rez one to work you would need to install it and then do the archive invalidation via bsa redirection. In reading your post I don't see that you did that or did you?

No I didn't do that, I only tried before I learned the info you gave me about the archive invalidation, will do that asap and report back.
