DOA5LR: A Collection of Mods primarily based off Harry Palmer's work (Updated 10/7/15)

Edited version of Harry Palmer Nude Mod 3.36

 

Update #5 (10/7/15):
-Fixed redundant poor hand rigging on Kasumi and Ayane

 

 

 

About:
3.0 is a large step up from 2.0. Along with all but one of the female characters added to the roster, the breasts have undergone an overhaul, resulting in a much smoother higher polycount, and a much less rigid appearance compared to HDM 2.0 and other existing nude mods.

-Harry Palmer: The man who created the foundation for all current mesh modding in DOA5:LR PC today. His original meshes, textures, and most of all his excellent modding tools are 95% responsible for this mod and most others.
-Pink Cafe BBS: As far as I'm aware, the high quality breast mesh originated from here. Although it's a Japanese board and anonymous at that, I can't be certain who to credit. If anyone recognizes the author of the breast mesh then please contact me and I'll either credit them, or remove the mod assuming there's some kind of distribution/edit policy I'm unaware of.
-Xentax forums: Responsible for the original mod tools.

 

IMPORTANT!

I've included all the readmes for the various meshes used in this mod. This should hopefully clear up creditation.

Requirements:
-DOA5:LR PC installed
-Manipulatable launch .ini (3DMGAME.ini etc...)

Installation:
1. Copy paste the DLC folder to your DOA5:LR root directory and overwrite. The root directory is where the game executable is (...\DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round)
2. Locate your launch .ini (3DMGAME.ini etc...). If you do not have one I cannot help you. Open the .ini and add "999999" to your DLC list. The end result should look something like this "DLC008=999999", at the bottom of the other DLC's defined there.
3. Launch the game and have fun!

Adds a topless option to the entire female cast, except for Honoka (WIP!) and Sarah. Works alongside the fully nude mod. Slotted right before it. The bottoms are primarily what I deemed to be the "iconic" swimwear for each respective female with a few exceptions.

More Swimsuits Mod 1.01 

Updated 4/17/15

-A small hotfix which attempts to mask issues with skin coloration not matching the face 100%. I can't be sure why that problem was there to begin with considering I used the skin textures correlating for each character, but I've custom edited most of the skins to blend them better than before. It's not perfect but it's mostly unnoticeable.

 

 

Custom Skin Normal maps were used in this image.

 

About:

This mod allows you to select more costumes for most of the female cast, allowing more characters to use certain kinds of swimwear. This mod adds costumes and does not overwrite existing ones! Across the entire female cast, there are 35 more options in total. This mod doesn't require uMod or GeDoSato but can be used in conjunction. This mod will NOT Frankenstein characters proportions or change their body proportions based on the costume. Much effort was made to each addition fits naturally into their repertoire of costumes!

More Swimsuits Mod Alternative 1.01 

 

 

About:

This is the alternative version of the standard More Swimwear Mod! This version gives the added bikini's a simple recolor work to better suit each character's general wardrobe and color palette. It also has the added benefit of individualizing most of the swimwear so that they may be modded individually if you so please, in the event that you do not like the color work I've done, or simply want to add something to the suits individually. At it's current state I got a bit lazy with making icons so the icons for the swimsuits are unfinished. If someone would like to help me make better icons I'd really appreciate it!

 

This version contains all the swimsuits of the previous version and is standalone. Not meant to be used in conjunction with the standard version.

 

Requirements, password and installation instructions are identical to the standard version of the mod seen above.

Thanks! I was thinking my next step would be to do some very basic recoloring so as the swimsuit swaps would be a bit more suited to the character's general pallette, but as of right now there's a problem with one of the mod tools where the costume icon can't be repacked for some reason, and I don't want to release something sloppy.

Hmmm... I thought I had it perfect but I can see some slight color matching issues from the head to the face on Helena. I wonder if the mask is causing that? I don't see that in my image. I might need to make a hotfix.

I checked the other characters and they seem fine. I'm positive that I used Helena's base body texture... Very odd.

Yes, It will. However if you check off the swimwear .zips in uMod you can still have the other features while keeping the other bikini mods.

You can combine certain umods with this mod as well. I tried my "no feather" mod for this outfit with Helena, and it worked fine.

I didn't manage to find a link, and 3dm forums aren't exactly user friendly for someone who doesn't know the language...

swapping outfit is a great idea tho, and, in all honesty, I really don't understand what the hell TN is waiting for to start following in namco's step and including a costume editor in the game...

 

oh, and another question, that might be a little out of the specific contest but, since we're talking about swapping, may be worth asking:

do you think that there would be a similar way to add the normal stages, with danger zones and everything, to be used in tag battles too?

I really can't see why the hell in tag battle we have about 1 third of the stages available...

Yes, because using that kind of file, you are reloading from all new configuration files, which will not call on your old save files.

At this range I can't even tell the difference quite the contrary. What you're saying implies some sort of mipmap issue but I'm not seeing it.

Ah yes. That's a problem with the mipmaps for the "wet textures", or so it would seem, but I still cannot reproduce this issue you're having. In this image I have the setting cranked to 100% wetness but I can't reproduce the effect.

 

I can see you're using some post processing injector that may be causing some issue? That's just my guess though. I couldn't say for sure what's causing the issue.
