Skyrim blocks Music-Buttons on Keyboard (Spotify)

Hey guys,

 

I have a little but annoying problem.

 

I'm using my Macbook Pro with Windows 7 to play Skyrim, means I have some funktion keys. The following picture shows my laptop keyboard: http://switchtoamac.com/images/hardware/macs/macbookpro/late_2008_mbp_keyboard.png

 

So, when playing Skyrim I can't change music or even stop/pause songs on Spotify (only tested this) with the keys at the top of the keyboard. Function key (fn) (bottom left hand corner) seems to do nothing. LoL, WoW, Diablo, CS:GO, possibly every other game installed on this laptop allows me to use those keys, except Skyrim.

 

I really have no clue where to try a fix, except in the Skyrim options. I tried around a lot but it seems like Skyrim is somehow already binding the keys. The only time the fn-key is actually able to do something is in the RaceMenu preset option (fn-F5, fn-F9 load and save a preset).

 

Just for a quick explanation -> If I'd want to use the key "F8" (not the pause-play-button) I would have to push fn-F8, If I just push F8 the music should actually be paused-played. This should be the case, but in Skyrim it simply does nothing.

 

Anybody got an idea of how to make those keys work properly?

 

I'm sorry if I wrote a little messy up there. This problem is actually simple but hard to explain.

 

EDIT: Actually the keys to adjust the windows-sound-volume (top right hand corner, F10-F11) work properly, no idea why the others wouldn't:

All I know, Is that Skyrim is a bitch when it comes to back ground stuff. At least for me, I cant even adjust my computers volume while skyrim is running.

Yeah, Skyrim blocks the keys. This plugin opens that up and it works again.
