Profile picture problems

Okay, so I wanted to change my profile pic here.

 

So I uploaded a new image, and this happened:

And it didn't actually change the image on my posts, just in my profile overview.

Going to the photo editor:

Odd, no?

So I did it again, uploaded the file, and this happened:

Just swapped the two images. Once more, still uploading the new file, the old one isn't even on my hard drive any more, and we're back to square one:

So I just removed the image entirely, thinking maybe that would help. I'm getting this, as expected:

And I go back in to add my new pick once again, and the issue is back again...

 

I mean, hey, a profile pic isn't exactly a big deal or anything, but this has me scratching my head.

I tried deleting my browser cache, just in case that was the problem, but no dice. So obviously LL is storing these old images. For some reason.

And it refuses to let me update the image... even when it shows one or the other pic in my profile page as being the new one, my posts still reflect the old one.

 

So my question is... is anyone else having these problems? Or is it just me? Am I the only one seeing this new image, or the old image, or what?

 

EDIT: Okay, the new pic seems to be showing up fine on my posts (at least, to me it is), but the old one is still on the profile overview.

I guess I'll take what I can get.

It takes a while to go through the system. I had the same issue when I changed my avatar recently. After an hour or so it was all sorted.

I had this issue as well a few weeks ago when I wanted to change. But it sorted itself out later that day.

I'm still a little confused as to why the images were swapping, though... meh.

It has to do with the cloud service.

Huh... looks like it finally took. Both pics are the same now. It only took about three weeks.
