Mod problems piling up...

I am having tons of problems with my current mod list; skeleton glitches, breast glitches, animations not working( not turning around when walking backwards), "Clams of Skyrim" not working, being able to feed while NOT a vampire, pregnancy belly not working, waiting eternity for sex animations to start, and not being able to control them, etc.

I've tried all manners of solutions (reinstalling, patches, changing mods), but which each problem solved, new ones appear. So i decided to start a thredad, hopefully it will change something. I have all the latest versions of mods, SKSE, FNIS and all that.

It really breaks the gameplay having to solve problems every 10 minutes...

Whilst I can't say for certain what the issue is, the problems you describe sound like you've been adding and removing mods without cleaning your save-games.

 

I'd wait for someone else to confirm before accepting my suggestion but in the meantime you should look up best practice for modding and investigate both SaveTool and Skyrim cleaner how-to's.

There are a lot of mods in there that are hitting your game pretty hard and its not just scripts per say its also spawns and potentially dirty edits.

 

For One I haven't kept up with Civil War Overhaul, I suppose that might be Apollo Downs mod which is safer than the other one at least.

 

 

I wouldn't Run Skytest with other mods like Immersive Creatures.

 

Skytest you know that author like's to only run like 30 mods for a reason right?

 

Anyway its not going to play well with mods that use animal spawn points or make changes to animal behavior.

There was really just too much to say about your list of mods, so I put comments directly into the text.

 

Modding properly takes a lot of time and personal experience with mods.

 

Reading all Descriptions is a mandatory thing, you really didn't envision properly what would happen to your game, though its ok this comes with experience.

 

Many mods your using are overlapping in function

Many more are making constant script calls

Some are out of date

Some or most have better alternatives available

Some mods in the list wont even be seen at all because of other mods functionality

Some mods are just so out of date they will not function properly due to body type chosen I don't care what some new modder thinks, I know how to bust this shit open in CK, TesVedit, Zip Folder, I know what Im looking at.....

 

Your going to have to make better use of tools like

Xedit Script

Wyrebash

A better Mod Organizer like Mod Organizer as far as Im concerned nothing else exists except for FOMM

 

Anyway this took me a lot of real time, think about that when you discard my thoughts on this.

 

A good place to find a bunch of material on modding is right here in LL, Technical Support Stickied at top, as a matter of fact the author basically developed a whole STEP guide to Sexlab, even has downloads ready for lazy modders that want to just follow his setup...You might try it and have an awesome game that is proven to function right away.

 

I strongly Suggest that you follow Sacremas Guide its at the top of the Techanical Support Page,  Download his packs maybe its cheating but you want a nice game right so its ok.

 

If this were my Load Order on say NMM, I'd erase the entire contents of NMM and the Skyrim Folder and start over.

Modding like I do well I have like 10+ years of experience as an end user and about 5 years modding the mods and made quite a few mods myself.

 

It just takes time, you learn, you buck up and try again

So far so good, the game didn't crash on menu. Remade my mod list and load order, they should be at least better than before. I used to use Nexus Mod Manager, but the Mod Organizer seems to be more ... cleaner ... than NMM ( the more you know...). I will test performance and stability tomorrow, thanks a lot Gameplayer, you the real MVP .

Alright, I've been playing for about 3-4 hours now, everything is fine except my breasts, one of them is a bit lower and more static than the other one, and for some reason I can't upload the pics (This upload failed). But everything else is great, thank you guys for helping . 

PS. : It could be just my perspective, saw a few post with the same problem.

PSS. : Problem solved, downloaded the HDT equipment mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57708/?) and it works fine.

Use imgur.com you can put pictures on there and link them here and your breasts is because of your hdtPhysicsextensionsdefaultbbp.xml or your bodies weighting is wrong here you can try my xml see if it works for you, it allows for breast, butt and belly hdt.

Yes that seems to be an issue with using HDT, what you can do is re-route your head.nif to your hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml and instead use the havokobject to route to your HDTVagina.xml that way you can unequip the object if it spazz's out.

The reason your Vagina is spazzing isn't limited to just you everyone is trying to find a good balance of workability without breaking it and there are several HDTvagina.xml's for you to try to limit the stuttering.

 

My suggestion is instead of equipping/referencing your HDTVagina.xml with your body.nif is to instead move them over to the havokobject.nif so that way during sex scenes when you vagina spazzes out you can equip and unequip the physics not the actual vagina lol

 

What you need:

- Nifskope

- More Hotkeys Please (allows you to easily equip and unequip object via hotkey)

 

Here i'll do it for you just download more hotkeys please and you can give it a try remember to keep your backup files. Also you used the body from clams of skyrim?
