technically a technical difficulty

The basic jist of what is happening is that when i try to run oblivion with any mods checked in the data files, it dosent even make it to the start screen. when i hit play it will go to a black screen for about ten seconds then it will close to my desktop as if nothing happened. i was following the guide at http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/XLovers_for_Oblivion

I know its a little outdated but i didnt know where the other guides were. all the mods should be downloaded right as i followed the instructions and the all have the green box by them in Obmm. as for the requirements, the only ones i dont have are pluggy, break undie framework, and oblivion script extender. those are chilling in my downloads folder as the tutorial didnt give me instruction on where to put it. Also, for the record i am terrible when it comes to this files and moding stuff, so any info regaurding this problem, please make sure you dumb it down for me

Lovers requires OBSE, BUFramework, and Pluggy.  Install them using the instructions included with those mods.  OBSE and Pluggy do not show up in OBMM, so don't worry about the order.  Refer to the Quick Installation Guide for where to put Breakundies.esm.

Also, if there is a green box next to a mod's name in OBMM, it means it has not been activated yet.  Select the mod, choose Activate, and follow the prompts.  The box will turn blue when it becomes activated.

um thanks that helped but pluggy confuses me. in the read me it says to extract "OBSE_Elys_Pluggy.dlx" and "OBSE_Elys_Pluggy.dll" but those files are not in the folder. so im gona try to download it again but it should be there if the read me in the same folder asks for it.

Edit: never mind i found the files, it made them outside the folder for some reason.
